I just done the job i have been putting off for months and months,Sort out the boys wardrobes and chuck what doesnt fit.
I been dreading doing this job for ages but im sick of ironing the clothes putting them away and coming out the wardrobes worse than before i ironed them so i finally did it,now just need to pick them up off the floor when i find some bin bags

Oh man, I hated that job when my kiddos were little! It was always nice though to give huge bags of goodies to friends who needed them.

Yeah thats one good thing a lot of it is still in great condition, some hardly worn so i will go through it later to see what can go to a charity shop

Awesome! I used to have a big shelf labeled with "12 summer" or "8 winter" or whatever since I had 4 boys. Now the hand me down days are mostly over, so it's always with great gusto that I haul that stuff off to Goodwill and declutter my cabinets and shelves!!

i really should so my own and my husbands but he wont let me touch his even tho he has lost loads of weight and the majority hangs off him,grr that man likes hauding stuff

Doing stuff that you intent to do for months....always feels great!!! Although (this might change as the years gone by LOL) I love sorting Lina's clothes... Putting stuff in a plastic box (already got 3 full with clothes) which she's grown out of, cause THAT means I can grab the box with bigger clothes, so it's kind of like a wardrobe change :D

My twins' birthday is at the middle of the year, so after their birthday and after Christmas is the perfect time to get rid of the old clothes that they've outgrown and make room for the new. I clean out all their toys twice a year too. If only I was as disciplined with my own closet!

ooh the toy box gets cleaned out more regular but not clothes apart from the babys because i know that once i get rid of hers i can go out and buy more girly dresses but just not the same with the boys especially as they choose there own clothes more often than not

Anyway i just bagged it all up and cant believe i have 4 bin bags full from 2 wardrobes

I just one of my boys' closet yesterday too! It's been on my list since September! I have one more to do today.

I have to do this too.. but first I have to go through a room of paper scrappy supplies I haven't touch in a year and a half.. gulp! LOL!

My kids keep growing so fast that I've done this twice in the last year. I always have to start with my youngest's closet first, and make room for the stuff that will come out of my oldest's. It does feel nice when I'm done and it's organized and they can pick out something that fits!

Good for you...I dread this too. I did my own closet last weekend and was shocked how much was ready to donate:) It looks so much prettier now!
