If you are not a girl scout family hunt down the closest one and buy a box or two! They are OH so yummy and for only the cost of some cookies you will put a smile on a little girls face!!! :flirty

Ps. if you are a girl scout family how much are the cookies in your neck to the woods? They are $4 here in northern NV :beat
 
Yes, yes. Do you even begin to know how hard it is to motivate myself to sell GS cookies in Jan. in Minnesota. Oye!

I think we are aiming for both sales this year. The girls have sold for several years and aren't that gung ho anymore and I think this is Sommer's last year. (I hope!)

And yes, I do have a box of Thin Mints in the freezer, now that you mentioned it, lol.

They always arrive just in time to help me break my New Year's resolution... LOL

Oh...and last year, I think they were 4.50 here.
 
Oh goodness. I can never resist the joyousness. I was a GS as well and so I've told DH it's all about supporting these sweet girls. (not sure he buys that reason when I bring in my 10 boxes of cookies, LOL).
 
I know there are some scout groups in Australia...but I don't know if they sell cookies. It's not big here like the US.
 
haha...one year my Mom was the cookie mom of our entire area...we literally had a semi truck full of cookies in our back yard.
 
oooh! I will have to hunt a GS down! I loooooove the thin mints! like seriously! And the coconut ones!! mmmmmmmmmm I hope someone the hubby works with has a daughter who will sell them!
 
Mmmmm thin mints are my best friend! I could eat them all day! But i have to go hunt down some gs to buy some since i dont know any :)
 
Goodness I miss those days being a girl scout and selling cookies. For the past few years though, I can only find the girls outside Walmart selling those delicious cookies. Since I didn't have girls, I didn't get to experience being a GS mom like my mother. Me, I buy one of every kind when I can. Just can't resist them! LOL
 
Those coconut ones (I've seen them called both samoas and caramel delites) are the death of me. I just love them!

I was a girl scout back in the day and I remember selling them later in the Spring.

They are the death of me too! I literally have zero self control and can eat an entire box which is bad since no one else in my family likes them. I need to stay far far away from the girl scouts this year!! LOL
 
Oy! It's going to be really hard resisting them this year. I was a Girl Scout and sold them to everyone and their dog when I was a girl. But dh was just diagnosed with diabetes and I don't want to tempt him with such deliciousness.

I just saw a sign in our kitchen at work and the cookies are $3.50/box.
 
I love me some girls scout cookies, especially thin mints. I think I made it last year without any though. And since we are moving, well I definitely need to get a couple boxes!!
