Tomorrow I am having 5 teeth worked on including three fillings, 1 extraction and 1 root canal/crown. Needless to say my mouth will be sore. I need food ideas. The softer the better...

Thanks in advance!

They won't let you suck through a straw for a few days with the extraction but you could still do the smoothies/drinks. Greek yogurt helps with getting protein. Pudding, maybe soup,

Oh yikes - will say a little prayer for all the work being done in your mouth - and for your sanity thru it! I would say like many of the ladies above....eggs, yogurt, pudding, oatmeal, soft fruits, etc...

Oh my! That sounds awful! I hope that everything goes well today. You could probably do canned green beans for some veggies, those are always nice and smooshy. Maybe get some of those Carnation instant meal/shakes. They have vitamins and stuff in them. Also, bananas are nice and soft.

banana custard, banana trifle, mashed potato. , I am so sorry you have to go through this.

oouch. so sorry. agree with the no straw thing for a few days though! yogurt and smoothies and not too hot soup. hope all goes well and you are not too sore!

So sorry to hear this, looks like lots of great ideas here, get well soon!

sending healing thoughts your way. When my son had to have a couple teeth extracted for his braces they suggested instant mashed potatoes, they definitely taste better then they used to :)

Ouch! I hope everything went well today.

When I had my sinus surgery back in February, someone here recommended the Boost shakes. They were a lifesaver...tasty and filling.
