Gettin Sketchy

I'm on vacation with the family having a great time, but also having a little bit of scrapping withdrawal. Don't have PSE with me so I was thinking of sketching some layouts on paper. Anyone ever do that? Just wondering?

I took a design class once and we had to sketch layouts for it, even giving ourselves spots for journaling and element placement (and making notes about colors or items you KNOW you want to include). I still do it occasionally especially if it's one of those layouts that I ponder about for a few days before starting it.

I do it a lot for my hybrid cards, but never really done it for layouts. I should try it sometime though.

Yep. I've got a notebook with sketches. I rarely end up using them, but it is fun to play around with.

I've never done it. Usually when I'm not at the computer at home, I will just whip out a piece of paper and jot down ideas I know I want to scrap, but they aren't design ideas, just topics or theme ideas. Sounds kinda fun though!
