get organized day | pad patter 4.26.22

Every day is re-organization day around here. :lol:lol:lol

I DID take all of my herb plants outside and placed the plants (still in the plastic containers) where I wanted to plant them. I also ordered some "garden necessities" today. Good start, huh???

It's get organized day, and I've been in the organizing mode lately. I've watched some youtube videos (do it on a dime / frugal fit mom) and even some organizing shows on netflix (home edit). There's just something satisfying about seeing a pantry transformation or closet organized.

I bought some bins and organized my spices, and some treats in the pantry.

I also organized the food in my storage room and even used some bungee cords to help keep the chip bags from falling off the shelves.

I really need to get off pinterest and youtube and get in my craft room to declutter and organize there, but baby steps for now. I'm taking it one cabinet and shelf at a time. Plus, we all know I'd rather be scrappin. :giggle

How about you, have you organized anything lately or need to organize something?

Wow! I love it!

I love organizing and purging. I actually just deep cleaned my fridge today. Took all the shelves out and washed them. It's so sparkly clean. I want to just stare at it. Haha!

I try to spend 15 minutes a day organizing something....it seems to help me stay on top of things.

Thanks Karen! I love my pull out shelves. Especially because the new pantry cabinets are so deep. I had some in my island that I loved, so I had more custom made when we we did the kitchen remodel last year. I've seen them at places like home depot and online. I've also watched youTube videos of people converting their old shelves to them. You and your hubby seem pretty handy, I bet you could watch some youTube videos and figure out how to DIY some.

I think I have that exact video saved in my bathroom re-do Pinterest board already! :giggle I LOVE Anna White! I'm adding this to our to-do list... AFTER we survive graduation in June. Lol!

I've spent the past 9 (10?) days trying to organize my sewing room, which includes every drawer, box and bin. I've also spent weeks going through all my fabric and bagging it up with the pattern and all the notions needed to get the job done. So far I've made 25 project bags and I'm still working on them. EEk!
