Gardening Fast Five | Pad Patter 6.1.22

Do you keep the herbs going during the winter? Or just summer?
You can move them indoors if you want. A friend of mine has them all over her house. Some of them are perennials and some aren't. I didn't bring mine in - just got the little plants at the nursery. You can buy any kind of seeds that you'd ever want and start them indoors in the winter, if you have room. I have too many and not enough room inside.

Because it's not like you are busy... :rofl

True, but there are things like scrapping and watching YouTube videos that I could do less of if I really wanted to garden. There are other full time parents and people with full time jobs who garden.

Oh! Buttercups sound beautiful! I should see about planting some!

Oops, I didn't keep reading. I didn't plant my buttercups. They've just been sprouting up all over my front lawn every May (recent years even beginning in April) for the last decade and a half. More prolific than dandelions but they only last until the end of May.

Here's a photo of them from May 1, 2021 that shows how numerous they get. I love them and frown at my husband when he massacres them with the mower. They bounce back pretty quickly though . . . until the end of May.
