Gallery Comment Emails?

it has been about a month now, that I stopped getting gallery comment emails. i can't figure out why it suddenly stopped. i check that little box enabling to be notified by email when someone leaves love, but i don't get those emails anymore. has this happened to anyone else? or did i mess up a setting in my user CP ... (very likely!! ha!)
 
You know, Jenn. I have found that I have to manually go to my gallery and click the "enable e-mails" button on the right for about 1/2 of my pages. And I always check the box on upload. Not sure the trick, LOL, but I try to remember to check my gallery every once in a while.
 
I guess I haven't ever had that checked. I just look at the gallery number and the notification for any new messages. I get so many comment messages from FB that I don't want more stuff in my email which is why I only have email notification from administrators checked.
 
i hear ya Christa. need to pay attention to that # more often then. but i did like getting a notification by email, especially on older LOs.
 
I always check the little box, but no emails for either, the site must have this option turned off.
 
I am looking into this today! I know you guys want those emails. I'll see what I can do. :)
 
Check your spam folder. Most of mine (if not all) have ended up in my spam folder. Unless I was adding a layout to more than one gallery than I wouldn't be getting them at all.
 
oh thanks laura! appreciate that. it was totally working just fine a month or so ago... and they are not in my spam folder either.
 
I don't get them either. Ever. Mine are always checked too.They don't go to spam, I check that about once a week. Crazy internets!
 
You are not alone, I don't get them anymore either. I just check the gallery and see if I have notifications now but it was nice getting the emails.
 
I never knew you could do this. lol I'd just the number. I'll have to check it out if it gets fixed.
 
Yay! I hope you can find an easy fix Laura. I miss getting those emails too. I keep forgetting to check the comments on my pages and then I feel bad when I've missed a bunch of comments. I like to return those comments. :)

Plus, comments just make me warm and fuzzy inside.
 
Ladies, we should be operational on those gallery comment emails again! Let me know if you are or are not receiving them now. Thanks!

BTW: i just left some love for all of you that posted in this thread ... so if you had the enable email for that page, maybe "you got mail" !!! :)

Hhmmm ... I got your comment, but no email notification. Maybe I didn't check the little box, I really don't remember. :huh I'll just wait and see when I load my next LO. :)

Yay thanks Laura! I got an email notification for one of my pages this morning ... I forgot how warm and squishy getting those emails makes me feel :D ... you are a rock star!
