Besides iNSD of course! What do you have planned for this weekend?
My DH is going with my daughter's concert band and choir on a trip this weekend. They are riding a big "luxury" bus to their competition. DH gets a medal of honor for it since it's all teenagers and the bus leaves at 3:30 am. LOL I can't ride because I get super car sick, so he's stepping in as chaperone. I'll be here working to make iNSD super fun!
So, so glad that Friday is here. Heading out this afternoon to start decorating the church for the big wedding tomorrow and the reception. I'll be so happy when Saturday evening is here and I can finally relax. Its out of town so I'll miss most of Saturday's festivities of iNSD.
I really don't have anything planned other than work today. Darn work getting in the way of scrapping!!
This weekend we are going to dig a trench around our garden and remove some bushes in our yard. Besides that, I'm going to be sitting at the computer having fun during iNSD!
I'd love to catch up on some scrapping - there are so many fabulous goodies for iNSD that I want to play with! I also want to work on my PL album. But I do have some work to do too.. DH is leaving on Sunday for a work trip so I'll have a quiet afternoon.
Well tomorrow we have baseball from like 11a-3pm (his coach has decided we're having a practice before the game :/ grumble faces). After that... zombie mode activated. I haven't been sleeping well for the past week and just want to snooze. That's my usual plan for the weekend though and it never happens
There is a punt/kick/pass challenge tonight, so we'll take our 9 yr old to that, then football camp tomorrow, plus soccer practice and then we have to start work on the drainage in the back corner of our lot. That is going to take a lot of time because we can't use a skid-steer due to the underground sprinkler system. So it is all manual labour. Sigh!
We are heading to a rodeo tonight--I don't know if the boys or I are more excited
Last soccer game of the season tomorrow.
And I am determined to get some scrapping done!
Tonight we're celebrating my daughter's 2nd birthday (which is tomorrow) with ice cream cake and presents. Tomorrow we're surprising the girls with a day trip to Disney! I'm SO excited not only because they've never been and are going to be blown away - but because I've never been either! I cannot wait. Sunday is grocery shopping and recovering from tomorrow Oh, and maybe scrapping??
I need to try to prep the house for my going back to work next week since it means that DH will be in charge of getting the kids (and SS will be with us a couple extra days this week while his mom has a medical procedure done) dressed, fed, and off to their respective school/daycare in the mornings. Hopefully, pre-planning outfits and meals and creating a schedule to hang on the wall will be helpful to him.... or my kid might very well end up at his parents' (who are watching her until a spot opens up at the end of this month at the daycare we want) hungry and naked.
Otherwise, we have Bible study Saturday afternoon and then a dear friend of mine is coming down to spend the day with me Sunday. She hasn't met Miss Monkey yet, so I hope we get to take her to the park to play.
I won't be doing any {i}NSD shopping, but I've got big plans to make a couple more pages with the May BYOC.
My boys and hubby are gone to camp and my mom, youngest sis and I are heading out of town to see an Amanda Marshall concert for my mom's birthday. Girls weekends are always fun! So I'll be missing most of the iNSD activities... Have fun girls!
tomorrow were going to my sisters tea party as she was 50 on thursday, she originally wanted to take us all out but as her daughter who is 14 and only recently come home after about 5 months in an anorexic clinic its not such a good idea so a little get together at her house is next best thing apart from that it was house work, chilling reading 50 shades of grey,on the last one now and tomorrow more football
- we have a softball game today
- celebrating hubby's bday - going out to eat!! there's a restaurant near here that has really good salmon, and that's what he wants for his bday meal. good for me, as i won't have to cook it and risk screwing it up! *ha*
- tomorrow is an all-day lacrosse tourney about 2 hours away. between games they're going to grill hot dogs for everyone so the kids can eat before their last game. so that should be pretty fun-ish... i hope.
