Friday! Weekend plans?

No big plans for me except working on some challenges here :).
I do hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good luck with the race, Angie!

I'm going to the hairdresser today - it's something I hate, and always put it off, but it is about time. :) My hairdresser takes forever, too, so a good chunk of the day will be 'wasted'. Then, I'm catching up on my PL album, I gotta start packing for my trip next week, and I want to play some more with watercolors for the class I'm taking. Fun!! Oh... yeah, I also have to do a write up on market research for a project, yak.

Wouldn't you know but I looked forward to this thread all week so I could post that I finally had something going on... and then the Internet was out Friday so I couldn't?!

We went to Dave Barnes' Indy show Saturday night. We were stuffed like sardines in a superhot second floor converted sanctuary, BUT Dave was so so rad-awesome. :beat Such a great musician and such a funny man. His new album has TWO songs abt his new baby boy, and he sang one during the show. Seriously, could a man be any sexier and sweeter when singing a song he wrote abt his own child?! :beat:beat:beat

This morning on the way out of church, E. was trying to get away from me in the parking lot so I grabbed her arm, she jerked it around to try to get out of my grip, and then started crying and saying her arm hurt. We were at my ILs' for lunch, and of course, they were all over being so concerned, asking her which part of her arm hurt, etc etc. We were there 2.5 hours, and she held her left arm against her side and cried when she/we tried to move it. On our drive to Medcheck, she fell asleep in the car (having been up late the night before since we were at the concert and she wouldn't go to sleep until we got home)... and suddenly she was healed. We took her in and began to register her, and she had both arms around Jeff, was picking her nose, holding her drink with both hands, and kept saying, 'I fine! I fine!' when we asked abt her arm. WTH?! Glad that she's okay, though, and we didn't have to spend money on an appointment that wouldn't have showed anything. Guess even though she's only 2 1/2, she knows how to work a room for attention and effect! We had ice cream to celebrate. :giggle
