LOL! My mom was born on a 13th, so she taught me a healthy dose of respect towards spooky things, but that there isn't much to fear except fear itself. I will still wear lucky socks during Hockey playoffs, and I will never touch a Ouija board. I don't need bad juju in my life.

Haha, I was coming to post that Michael Scott quote! I am not really superstitious either.

@bestcee One of my fave quotes from The Office!

I try not to be superstitious, but it's hard to break from things you've known about or been taught. Like black cats. I always cringe when one crosses the road ahead of me, but then I've read that they are actually good luck? And doing laundry on New Year's Day will supposedly wash away good luck/money for the year. That goes along with eating black eyed peas, greens, etc. to bring money into your life. Those last two were taught to me by my grandmothers, an aunt, and my Mama. Although this year, instead of getting all the washing done on NYE, I chose to ignore it for that day AND the next. I didn't eat any of the things on New Year's either. I did have quite a few thoughts that I was making bad choices . . . LOL

I'm not superstitious at all. Especially about black cats. We had a bunch of them growing up and I loved those cats!

I was born on a Friday the 13th, so it's my lucky day. Plus I have a black cat, and I feel lucky to have him. I guess I'm the opposite of most superstitions.

I’m not really superstitious but I like to play like I am. So I joke about opening an umbrella inside and watch out for bad things happening on Friday the 13th.

But ever since my wedding was scheduled for July 13, 1996, I’ve actually liked the number 13. It was a Saturday though, so I still watch out for Friday 13th for fun.

I'm not superstitious at all and Friday the 13th has been pretty lucky for me...my divorce was final on Friday the 13th :giggle
