All of my weekend plans are on hold because DD2 woke up with pink eye. So joyous. *sigh* I think DH and I will sneak out for breakfast in the morning though while DD1 babysits. We've been wanting to try a new local bakery and pick up a few things from the farmer's market. We had plans to go out to dinner with the kids and some friends, but I think we'll have to cancel. Probably looking at a quiet weekend here...
DD's birthday party is tomorrow night. We're doing a Lego theme. I have to go out and get the stuff for the cake and some prizes still and clean clean clean. She is soooo excited though. She's only invited three girls but she hasn't had a party in forever.
Also going to go get the new Wizard of Oz Fluxx game for her for a belated birthday present. She loves Fluxx and she loves the Oz books, and she doesn't know of it's existance yet (just released today I think) so the owner of the local game store is setting aside a copy for us. So excited about it!
Pink eye is no fun...hope she feels better soon and the rest of you don't get it.
Just me and the kids this weekend as we come
upon the closing of Spring Break. My hubby's having some "me" time with the guys camping and rock crawling.
I'm thinking I might take the kids to the beach for the day. Then hopefully Sunday I pick up my little bean . I hope he'll be weaned by then! Still haven't come up with a name for him yet. We are contemplating on "Rock". That was the name of our hybrid wolf that we had a couple years ago who passed away unexpectedly.

aw, Laura, you guys have been through it lately with sick kiddos, haven't you?
Micah and I are having a date tonight--going to eat and then to a Needtobreathe concert (so excited, they are my new favorite band!). Then tomorrow, I am meeting a friend to see Hunger Games. Because of all the rain, soccer is cancelled, so not sure exactly what our plans are, am contemplating a zoo trip, but think it will probably be CRAZY busy, so not sure yet.
Sunday is church and that takes us back to school again on Monday!
I had such good plans for this weekend before I fell and broke my leg and ankle. I was SUPPOSED to go to a fundraiser comedy night tonight. Then go to trivia tomorrow. Then probably go see Hunger Games Sunday. But instead, I get to sit around. My DH and DD are going to my in-laws tomorrow, and "me" time just isn't the same when I'm stuck like this. I will get some scrapping done, hopefully, though! And Hunger Games will probably wait until next weekend. I'm okay with that, though. Maybe not so many kids will be in the theater next weekend.
Oh Laura... you just can't catch a break can you. You poor thing. I sure hope this means that your kids are done being sick for like a year!
Sarah... we're doing birthday stuff tomorrow too. It's both my hubby's birthday and my youngest son's 6th birthday. We're doing a bowling party. Wyatt has 23 kids in his kindergarten class, so I just couldn't have him invite them all. He picked about 10 kids and then his two cousins and brother will be there too. I can't believe that every single kid RSVP's that they can come! I'm SO glad I didn't invite the whole class!
My sister and her family are coming to town tonight for the weekend and for the party fun. I've been cleaing all week and I'm sure within ten minutes my house is going to be destroyed again. sigh. but, we always have so much fun. I have two boys and she has tow boys just slightly younger and they always have so much fun playing together.
Sunday we have Sunday School and church and then I really hoping that I get to relax and make some jewelry. I just got a whole bunch of new supplies on Wednesday and I've barely had time to play yet!
We have an Easter Egg hunt tomorrow morning at my ILs' church. Of course, it's supposed to rain today and tomorrow morning, so maybe the mud will make it easier to find eggs. I suppose the church is big enough that they might just hold it inside instead, but where's the fun in that?!
Sunday is the usual church and ILs' for lunch.
I'm quite sure I will see snippets of Curious George and 'The Wizard of Oz' another half dozen times over the weekend, too, seeing as they're DD's latest 'moo-ie' obsessions.
I have to try to get some cleaning done today. Tomorrow we're going to the aquarium. Sunday I'm working all day at one of our fundraisers. Pretty busy weekend here.

I'm planting seeds that I never got planted last week (yikes) and proofing the book. Ugh. I am also gathering my stuff together for my mini-trip next week and picking up last-minute items I'll need.
I think I also need to squeeze in some homework. Ugh. I have a presentation to create and a paper to write.
I think I need to schedule some scrapping time in there somewhere because it is all adding up to be not much fun.
Hoping to see the Hunger Games this weekend!!! The family is coming over for Sunday dinner so I need to decide if I want to make anything (mom is cooking) and we also need to scour the house because it's a mess!

I am hanging out in Texas. I ventured out yesterday and ate with my long time BFF (who just moved here recently herself)... we ate at Chuy's. It was awesome food.
Today I am held up in the hotel because Scott has the truck. Security would not let me in yesterday to pick him up so I didn't want to have to go through that again. He wants me to go to dinner with him in Dallas tonight and a whole crew of his work friends. I'm not really up for it but I am sure I'll go anyway.
Tomorrow we finally go look at houses. I wish we'd been doing that every night, I only have til Sunday and I didn't want to hit overload tomorrow. It's a nice day here so hopefully tomorrow will be good too. I get to see at least the top two houses we have on our list and maybe look at some new build options for us.
I fly home Sunday morning. I'd like to stay a bit longer but I guess I shouldn't complain since I'll be here permanently. I should enjoy being home while I can. I miss my doggies. My sister is staying at my house taking care of them and says they've been waiting by the door for me.
Oh and I just started reading the Hunger Games so I can't go see the movie yet, lol...
well.. i took a nice nap today, that was my friday plan. Saturday i MUST do laundry.. i havent done wash in almost 2 weeks....... thank goodness it's just the kid and i here otherwise that would be way scary. AND then sunday we're begining my bday celebration Sunday we're doing something the 3 of us... then monday it will just be the bf and i for my actual bday dinner. woo
