Free Time Black Hole

Anybody else have this problem? It seems like all of my free time gets sucked away into a black hole, never to be seen again. Maybe it's because we have about 4 household projects going on at the moment, and the kids are at the last push of their gymnastics season, and hubby is traveling so i'm flying solo. After the kids' bedtimes used to be my me time, but lately I crash shortly after they do. *sigh* I NEEED to find some free time and scrap a bit before I lose my sanity!
 
It goes in spurts like that for me too where I get busy with other projects and then I'm too tired to scrap after the kids go to bed too. Usually in the winter I get more time because my kids don't do sports then, but we're coming up on soccer and baseball season so I'm afraid I'm about to be in your boat too.

Just drink an extra Mountain Dew or two and stay up late one night to get some scrapping time in. :)

i know what you mean about the sports karen! gymnastics is year-round so they're always in it, but meet season runs from nov-march. for those 5 months, gymnastics dominates our weekends. not cool. and now that gymnastics is coming to an end, lacrosse is starting up for the one child who is not a gymnast. so now we move into 3 months of double-header games with practices in between. *sigh* i need a clone!!
 
Yes! Seems scrapping is what gets pushed to the side. There is some value in just crashing after a crazy day, though. ;)

I feel like this too...I turn on the TV or read and then pass out. I have been forcing myself to put down my Nook and scrap the last couple days though because I missed it. :) Winter for me is when I don't like to scrap, mostly because I am too lazy to take photos and when I do they are sucky because of being inside. Then the weather gets nice and I just want to be outside....but I am more excited to stay up late to scrap because I like my photos so much more. :)
 
Since I've been home the last year or so, and Katelyn is only doing a little dance class, I've had lots of free scrappy time. But when I didn't, my mom was awesome about taking her once a week or so, so I could have a few hours to myself!
 
Oh yeah, It seems like I am either carrying the 4 legged kiddos somewhere or my human girl somewhere.
 
Oh I hear ya... this week has been so busy all I feel like doing at the end of it is flaking out myself... I'm making scrap time today! End of story...
 
free time escapes me some days ... especially when I am looking at Pintrest LOL
 
lol I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally wasted all my free time on a FB game or my blog reader!
