UGH this weather! We are getting freezing rain. It's not freezing on the ground yet (there is just a lovely layer of slop all over the sidewalks and parking lots), but it is freezing on the trees. Then the wind picks up and blows chunks of ice and tree branches (just little ones so far) to the ground. It sounds like someone is throwing rocks at my house. I'm really hoping for no broken windows and that the power lines stay intact. When is spring?
 
that is not a good sound...have been there before...hope everything stays safe and it warms up soon for you!
 
Yikes!! That is not cool at all!! We have the freezing rain too but not the wind yet. These warm temps are a mixed blessing!
 
oh hunny I am so sorry that is just nO fun At all!!!! Hope it warms up soon! For now make some sugar plum tea WITH HONEY!!! That makes everything better!
 
so were you one of the unlucky to lose their power for awhile today? It was the leading story on the news here.

we have the rain too but not the wind. It's so cold though! :(
 
It was warm enough to just rain all night long!! It's still really slippery in areas where there was snow/slush on the ground, but thank heavens all that didn't freeze. It's really funny that it is warm enough to rain, but we still have 2 foot high piles of snow covering everything.
