That is always my solution. :) But honestly, all hubby jokes aside, have you recently moved stuff around the house? Like maybe where he's supposed to be kept? Could he have been knocked behind a shelf or something? I'm trying to think of places cuz it must be so frustrating. I hate losing things and I've been thinking about you/Chiney all day.

I have an idea but take a deep breath before you read this: If you can't find him, would it be possible to get a new elf? I know this one has special meaning for Bianca and y'all have had him a long time, but could you use this as an excuse--or rather, as an opportunity--to retire Chiney and have his nephew or niece (I'm not gender stereotyping elves lol!) take over? And to piggy back off of Tracie's piggy back, you could have him email saying he took an unexpected vacation but he's loving it so much, he might make it his new home. He didn't realize how nice the weather was in _____. And like she said, I bet there are loads of people who'd PM you a photo to use. I bet they'd even write a little note that says "Hi Bianca!" to include in the photo's foreground. (That way she doesn't think it isn't a generic Google images photo or something.)

Still nothing, I have ran out of places to look for him. I had a good cry because of this and LIFE in general. I ordered a similar one and so did my MIL. I am just so upset. Life is just sucking right now.

Dalis I can feel your pain as you have shared your woes about not being able to find Chiney and then I read that other things in life are not going so well.... I am thinking of you and hoping that things will get better real soon for you.
 
Oh no, i was hoping you'd find him or like i seem to do, remember in the middle of the night i moved something, somewhere etc when i should be sleeping and then have to write myself a note or i forget again by the morning - our elf was reassigned to wrapping a few years ago and then a subsequent elf was assigned to the kids; maybe Chiney was reassigned? i'm sorry your going through this Dalis - we put so much pressure on ourselves to create such wonderful experiences, it's a testament to the effort you've made over the last few years that Bianca feels so strongly atm.

Omigoodness! First, ugh, what a stressful situation! Second, I always use St. Anthony... especially for parking spaces around the holidays! Shhh... Third, WOOOO HOOOOOO! He's found, and super cute. Last... hubbies make our heads spin! :giggle

OMG - you guys will have to make a note on your phones where you hide him this year so this doesn't happen again. SO GLAD Chiney turned up. Please take a photo to share of Bianca's first smile when she sees her darling elf in action! :beat

I tried but she woke up WAY earlier than us! But she was beaming, singing all morning while getting ready.

See I knew it was M. LOL Thank you St. Anthony for bringing Chiney back to Bianca ... Now Dalis, write a note from Chiney to B to say he is sorry he worried her.. he had to make a few stops along the way and with all the snow, he got delayed. Big hugs mi amiga :)
