FORUM + GALLERY UPGRADE ISSUES

The above post showed 10.50am. But my actual time is 9.50am. So nope, I still hv problem there. :(

BTW, which timing shud I chose to be in-sync with the forum? Gonna change to that to test for a few days. Then change back to mine (+ 8hrs). THEN see how it goes.

Not yet...I was able to get an image into my post, but not to make it clickable. I haven't had much time this week though, I'll test it out again later this week.
 
Hi Amy, I still can't post layouts in the private forum. I use the direct URl link from photobucket but it comes up as invalid URL. I have cleared my cookies & history,

Ok, I can link a picture now. I still can't add a post with links though. For both of my CT's I need to be able to post the links of where I uploaded and it deletes the post everytime. When I tried to post the photo and add the links in the comment, it says I need a mods approval. I can add the photo, post the post, go back and edit and add links, but that's kind of annoying.
 
Ugh, I don't know why I'm struggling so hard with this! So before, I used to be able to post a photo, link the photo and copy the code to move it to another thread...for example the challenges ask you to post a linked photo in the challenge thread and also your challenge tracker. I can't get it to work...is there a way to see the code and not the photo that I've uploaded?
 
Am I the only one who sees the letters "vb ft" right above the the blue footer bar on the left?
 
I have that too,( the vb ft thingy) also I can not "like" any thing, every time I try I am told I do not have permission to see the page......but I have just seen it !?
 
Ok, this is me being itchy fingers. BUUUUUT I have "A" valid reason for it. In the old format, I subscribed to one of my CT's forum to get notifications when there's a new post. For this new format, I am still subscribed to it. But I didn't receive the notification. So I thot maybe I have to redo (aka refresh). So I clicked it to unsubscribe. Then I clicked back to subscribe. But I was prompted the error msg below (Not authorised to view this page).

Ok, now I'm so dead.

So I cleared everything - history, cache and what-not. Then I log out & log back in. But still the same error msg. I'm using Chrome. So PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE tell me it is NOT A USER PROBLEM. And also I am not alone. :cry:cry:cry:cry

 
I tried to get a preview of the kit I love in the post, I tried via the link button. I saw the thumbnail and the url link but in the actual post I can't see the image. It just leaves a blank space where the image should be and then the url I had inserted via the linking button

I found a way to post images..... instead of posting them as image url, you click the link icon and post it that way...
when you want to post a second image, it will try to take over the previous one...so I go down two spaces on the enter key, then paste the url of my image, highlight it, then click the link icon and paste the loink again....it is working for me....... I am seeing all my links post disaapearing when I post in the enabling threads...but they show up two days later LOL
Gosh I am laughing, but I have cried...and dont envy Amy.....I wish there was something we could do to help, instead of moaning ...:(

oh, and I also see the vb ft in the bottom blue/green? bar
 
I can't choose a designer or something when I upload a layout to the gallery...Earlier today it worked...
 
Woohoo Amy - I was finally able to change my avitar pic!! :) Thanks again for all you guys are doing to polish up this upgrade - we know it will be worth it once it's all shiny and sparkly!! :)
 
When I post my LO's and their linkies in the designers thread they don't show up there......
