FORUM + GALLERY UPGRADE ISSUES

ok--me too--so I will just hold off trying until tomorrow again. thought it was just me.
 
you are not alone...I got that beginning last night ladies, and I was using the IE7 browser. This morning I switched over to chrome and I was able to upload so perhaps it is an incompatible thingy with IE7... going to check again otherwise for uploading I will use chrome for now until I can see if it gets fixed.
 
would you all please clear out your TLP cookies and your browser cache? if/when you do, try again and please report back how it went. a lot was updated throughout the day today...

Hi! I just tried again after clearing cookies and cache and still the same. Should I try a different browser?
 
I should also mention - the site is looking great and we all appreciate all the work you guys are doing!!!!! :)
 
what size image are you trying? also, do you get any message or ?

It's 100x100 (6KB) and it's just like I stated above, I select a file and then nothing. Also, if I try to hit the cancel button, that doesn't respond either. No error message when trying to select the file though.
 
gah - i just don't get it. i've set my own permissions the same as yours on a test account and can do it just fine. hum...
 
I just tried it w/ Safari with the exact same result. Sorry I don't have better news!! Thanks for all your efforts though - the site is looking GREAT! :)
 
Starting the day here in Asia and admiring our new TLP home! Love the fab new features. Thanks Amy for all the hard work!
 
I changed to Firefox, Upload worked fine there.

A question about the forum: I see that you can type in the page number of the forum and that you've got display options now (like photos or links only, which is cool). What is not there anymore is the "First" and "Last" Button that allows to jump to the last page of a thread without typing in the page number. Do those buttons still exist? Guess I'll get used to not having them, but they were very convenient.
 
Not sure if someone mentioned this but being on a couple of the designer's CT, we have to post our layouts using the new kits when we finish them. Then once we post them we have to go back to add in where they have been posted. I'm having issues getting those links back into the same post that my layout's in. It asks me to add links but that's not exactly what I'm supposed to do. Kind of confused so I hope I make sense. ;)

I am in the same boat as Christa,and Terri v and IsabellaLR Chigirl, and I am sure every other Explorer 7 user out there :groanUsing that browser I still can not upload. Have cleared cookies, history ect. but it is still the same.I Am now using firefox and that works :yesss.
Changing the subject I would also like to see the names rather than the category in the gallery ,if possible, and just in case you are bored Amy and have "nothing better to do" :giggleThanks ,The site looks good, just have to get used to the new quirks.:)

TapATalk is still not working for me. I also can't edit my posts. Checked the How-to post but don't see it in there..

Edited: I can edit new posts, I guess. It's just old posts where I don't get that option.
 
not a real big deal, and certainly not urgent... but some smilies are not working.

when i type : and D together you see an image icon (like image is missing) -----> :D
 
The "My Gallery" here in the forums under everyone's profile pic is not clickable.. the Private message is, but not the "My Gallery"
