What kind of white card stock would you recommend for printing journal cards. I have I guess it's just a basic card stock in white, but I swear it seams to dull the colors when it prints. (I have brand new ink in my printer). Also my printer is a Canon MG5320, so I'm not sure what settings I use to tell it the kind of paper I am using. The only options I have under the Quality & Media under the print settings are Plain paper, photo paper, Envelope, Hagaki (what the * is that?? :giggle), and other papers. My only guess could be to choose Other papers and then pick High Resolution paper?

Help! :flirty

I use matte presentation paper...It looks great. I have a setting for presentation paper though, so I'm not sure what setting you would print on.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions girls! :love

Brandi, I have a Canon too. I chose "other photo paper" but I can't choose high resolution with it. I just printed this with Bazzill Orange Peel paper (I bought at Scrapjazz.com) and printed Val's (LBW) calendars with that option.

I have printed on Canon Matte Photo Paper (it's actually an option in the paper drop down menu on Canon printers) for printing digi stuff, and for Print & Cut with the Silhouette and it works wonderfully.

I've also used Red River Polar Matte White and it was equally as good.

I've used the Bazzill orange peel that Debra showed. It's great if you want to have some texture.

If I use a regular cardstock, I put the setting on Plain Paper but bump up the print quality from standard to high.

Debra and Laura MADE me buy some of that orange peel cardstock today :giggle

What Valorie said. I love the white cover weight cardstock at paper source, nice and thick with just a hint of texture. I bought the 100 pack and am still working my way through it. If you're concerned about dullness, I think the brighter the white, the more the colors will pop. I've also purchased the regular white cardstock at Joann's - I don't remember the brand but it was something like $4.99 for a pack of 50? And you can get an even better deal on it when you bring in the coupons. It's not as thick as the paper source cover weight but prints just as nicely, color wise.
