I just got this question...

How is Mr. Krabs' daughter a whale when he is a crab? Even if her mom was a whale, wouldn't she be a whale-crab?
 
My little guy has been studying children around the world and just did a little geneology in his class, so maybe that is why he is asking.

I just told him...maybe she is adopted. LOL
 
oh dear carolee thats something my youngest son would probably ask and no i dont know the answer to that one
 
Okay...I just looked up good old Mr. Krabs on Wikipedia (yes, he has a page)...and she is in fact adopted. Ha!
 
lol! I Think you gave an acceptable answer with her being adopted... lol! I think Caleb would ask me the same thing if he watched it... ;)

LOL! I always wondered the same thing and figured she was adopted, too!
 
It is the same for Po (a huge panda) and his father (a stork) on Kung Fu Panda. Po was adopted. He didn't realize it until he was an adult. hahaha
 
lol..first time I watched that show was with my little niece. later that day I was talking with her mom and I told her I watched spongebob with her and couldnt figure out how Mr. Krabs' daughter a whale when he is a crab....then out loud Samantha yells " shes adopted, duh!" we just started to laugh.lol
 
whahaha, that is too funny. I never realised, that he has a daughter LOL But we don´t look at it very much, so I think, that is ok ;)
 
its on here all the time but i just phase out now,its that blooming theme tune gets stuck in ya head
