I used to love meat and felt lost without eating it at meal times. Lately though, I've taken kinda of a disliking to it, and it isn't really appealing anymore.

I have friends who have said the same thing that they'd much rather eat veggies etc than have meat at their mealtimes. Is it the over 40 syndrome or what?:whistle

I told my husband a few months ago, maybe I am becoming a vegetarian or something.

Anyone else experience this?

I've always been rather 'take it or leave it' about meat. I could go either way.

i'm not a meat person either. i'd never eat red meat if i had that choice.

I like meat, but I'd be very unhappy if I couldn't have my veggies. I fill my plate with veggies and then the meat is my side dish.

Now a friend of mine is (and has been for quite awhile) doing the atkins diet. I tried it once...but just thinking about it now makes me sick. There is no way I could do it again. The thought of just eating protein makes my stomach ache!

Meat just hasn't had the same appeal as it did a few years ago. I totally love veggies and will take them before meat. I think it's because I didn't like them when I was younger.

i LOVE meat!!!!
gimme a big ole beef steak! LOL

I'm cooking steak for supper tonight. Wanna come over for some Alberta beef?!!:). Deb, I like your idea of the side plate idea, thanks!!:)
