Flowers | Pad Patter August 31

I love pink flowers. I seem to have had some success getting orchids to flower. But I love the smell of St Joseph lilies.

I just love flowers - they brighten up any space so nicely! I used to work in an office where one of our clients paid us in flowers - we got a new arrangement every week! I love all sorts...but I think my favourites are the exotics - orchids for sure and bird of paradise are both high on my list...African violets are super pretty, too.

What's your favorite flower? I always have loved gerbera daisies. They just make me happy. Plus they come in so many colors!
Gerbera daisies were my wedding flowers so I love them too! Tulips are probably my favorite. Or snap dragons because they’re fun. :)

I don't really have a favorite and the last time I had cut flowers in my house (retirement gift 5 years ago). My nose was all stuffed up for about a week.

But I will say that I was always partial to the peony bush that was in the front yard for many years. I loved watching it grow each summer until it didn't anymore. It's been gone quite a few years but I still miss seeing it. Other flowers in outside beds... Back when I did the planting, whatever sparked my interest was what went in.

Tickseed. They bloom throughout September along many roadsides in my area (central Virginia) and they're my favorite color and beautiful. Here's a photo from when I picked some and put them on my desk a couple years ago.

I love any kind of daisies (the mum family of perennials); day lilies and hydrangeas and I have all of them growing in my front garden. My fall mums are all about to bloom, too. I've had ferns hanging from my front porch for years, too. I'm kind of a crazy plant lady. :lol:lol

I love a huge variety of flowers, way too hard to just pick one. But I really like lily of the valley, orchids, calla lily, hyacinth, sunflowers...and for the smell....honeysuckle!!

I pretty much love all nectar plants (for pollinators)..they are colorful and happy and get so many beautiful visitors. Some of my most favorites are in my garden now: zinnias, echinacea, rudbeckia, cosmos, asters.

I don't think I could ever narrow it down...but my top five would include tulips, wattle, English roses (especially with perfume!), daffodils and sunflowers.

Pink Peonies are probably my favorite and then I also have a hot pink hibiscus bush in my backyard that is just gorgeous when it blooms. I also love my black eyed susans in my backyard, but as much for their yellow color, but because they start blooming the 3rd week of July and are still going strong right now! The deer love to eat those, but mine are in my fenced backyard, so they are protected. The ones in my front yard didn't survive. Whoops!

I LOVE flowers, but some of them are bad for my allergies...I love sunflowers, gerberas, begonias, violets,kalanchoe... ohhh...amaryllis!! the list goes on and on!!

Flowers are bad for my allergies. I think my favorite though are the violets that pop up in my yard, followed by crocus, daffodils, tulips and irises.
