let me just say this. i think my flash knows i work for apple and how i truly feel about it deep down inside.

anyone out there a super awesome flash user and want to :helpy?

i'm not getting any error messages, it just doesn't work.

i'm going to try to delete my uiloader and try again.

you're a doll. i think i got it working. i started up from a backup and added a new UILoader then copied my action scripts.

but now i'm having this problem:

so i have my portfolio page.

when you go onto the page you should see the image, but its hanging like it's waiting to drop down (like the other images do when you click the next or back button, make sense?) why is it hanging out and not just on display?
 
ok this is a really cheap trick

try accessing the page by adding an extra slash at the end

for example: if you usually go to talktoheather.com try talktoheather.com//

flash is notorious for its weird propensity to cache and hang there. the extra slashes force the issue. you can keep adding slashes whenever new content is there to outwit it.
 
I am so happy you got it to work! I am SO dumb with that inda thing but I know how frustrating it can be when somethnig (anything!!) isnt working properly. I get so impatient with my computer!

LOL Lauren, I was with you!! At first, I thought it was like a flash on the camera, but didn't know how working for Apple would affect that, then I just really had no clue!
 
lol I was with Becky. I kept thinking ... does Apple make flashes too? :D
