The kid car is in the shop, so hubby took my car and DD took his to the high school leaving me stranded today. Normally, I would have just taken DD to school, but she takes some college classes and had to be on campus early this morning and then get to the high school later when I couldn't take her.

I'm really missing my car today and feeling stranded. No I don't really need to go anywhere today, but just knowing that I don't have my car today if something come is bothering me. I'd have to walk or ask someone for a ride. I know it's silly and many people share a car or don't even have one, but I like having my own car at my disposal. Here's hoping the kid car gets fixed today so everyone will have their own car tomorrow. I'm on carpool Tuesday and will definitely need my car.!

How about you? What first world problem are you facing today? I can't be the only one with silly issues, at least I hope I'm not. :backing
 
A puppy that has decided it is more fun to poop in the kitchen than outside. And, this is after she got me up at 4:00 a.m. and again at 6:00 a.m. to go poop outside. Thankfully she is in a crate at night so just can't run around!

And I had bragged about her to the breeder on Thursday that she hadn't done that in almost 2 months!

Yeah, I know she is just a puppy...
 
My first world problem today is that it's a little snowy out and my favorite shoes don't have good traction and my winter boots hurt my feet.... so I'm sitting here eating Good 'n Plenty candies instead of walking to Whole Foods for groceries.
 
I try to remember that all of my problems are, at this point in my life, FWP. But they still make me nuts sometimes!

Today I'm annoyed cuz the Hulu app keeps glitching during commercial breaks, so I have to close/restart the app, which means I can't watch my trashy Housewives for a few long minutes cuz I have to re-watch the dang commercials once I get the app going again! I know I joke about having no patience, but the whole "spending another 90 seconds watching commercials I just saw" thing really cooks my grits. DH would tell me just to upgrade to commercial-free Hulu, but nope: I'm not letting their trickery fool me into giving them MORE money! I like to watch while I do housework, so maybe that's the issue: I'm already in a bad mood cuz I'm doing laundry so the Hulu app freezing just adds to that crankiness.

oh I hear ya on the glitching commercials. That happens to me on slingtv and the cbs and abc apps. I think you're right. They're trying to milk us for more money for the commercial free access. And add in laundry and chores and I don't blame you for being annoyed. The only thing I miss about cable is the button to easily skip past 30 seconds of commercials. I had that button pushing down to a science. I could hit it just the right amount of times to get right back to my show. :ignore
 
Another thing that's bothering me today is my shoulders and wrists. I'm still having lots of carpal tunnel pain, so I'm wishing PSE had talk to scrap like my iPad has talk to text. If I happen to leave you a weird comment in the gallery or forum just know that it was Siri typing and she couldn't understand me.
 
I did some hand sewing today and felt like I was visiting the olden days. My daughter wanted to convert a couple of old t-shirts to pillows. I do have a sewing machine but it's ancient and unreliable so I decided it would be more trouble than hand-sewing a couple of small pillows. Turned out to be a fun time as we took turns sewing and reading The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. She has been after me to read all the Rick Riordan books and they're good books, but not my favorite genre so I keep reading other things instead.

Oh, there's another first world problem. Too many books to read!
 
The garage door spring broke so we had to have someone in to fix it today. Unfortunately, it is also mid-term exams for both boys at school and I needed to go out in the middle of the day (also in the middle of the guy fixing the door) to pick them up from school. I didn't want to leave him alone, so I had to phone dh to come work from home to stay with the garage door guy in case he finished while I was out picking up the kids.
 
Not wanting any of the food I had at home for dinner. And finally just having dessert for dinner. Definitely 1st world problems. ROFL!!!!
 
Ugh. man we are so spoiled! ;)

I was paying bills online today & the stupid online pay wouldn't work. I had to call the number... and we all know how that goes... :hairpol Just take my money already...

Oh I know I am.

1.Today, I was one who didn't really want any of the food I had in the house...so I had to resort to Trader Joe's frozen dumplings. Sigh. So troubling...:badmood
2. It took my hair half a day to dry (I just let it dry on its own) and I had to turn the heat in my room up all the way to get it dry and then the room got too hot!
3. My local library - less than half a mile away - is closing soon for renovation and the shelves are nearly empty.

But as I was walking back to my car I took a photo of the large wall window showing the empty shelves. What I also saw was one of the homeless men who come and sit in the library til it closes. We may get snow tonight. Kind of puts it all into perspective as I sit at my iMac before I go to watch a couple shows on my flat screen tv - cable recorded shows or Netflix? geezelouise, serious FWP indeed!
 
I had to clean the car off this morning because the snow came back.
Wasn't in the mood to cook dinner so I made mac & cheese and ate it guilt free :)
 
Really the only issue for me today was I couldn't get the dog licensed since she hadn't had her rabies shot. She had it as a puppy and we registered her initially... but I guess that one was only good for a year, so she needs another one that is good for three years. My trainer doesn't believe in vaccines, and I'm leaning that way as well. I just feel like I don't want to put ick into her body...
 
I am right there with you deary! Eric's car has a flat and we are down to one car too! eric has to drive 45 mins away for work and my work is less than 5.. so he drops me off in the morning and I have to catch a ride home.. I feel so hopeless having to ask co-workers.. and than I come to find NOTHING To eat in the house and have to get carry out or walk to the grocery store! UGH!!!!
