I spent my first week working in Texas. Most of the week was spent in Dallas. I drove back and forth SO much, it was rough... much different from home. We miss our dogs and cats like crazy.

Yesterday I started at my actual office, and I really like it there. It's relaxed and fun so far.

Our truck broke down, so 900 dollars later, we've got a rough month ahead. I have 165+ emails to read, and I haven't scrapped a thing.:hissy

Tomorrow we head to McKinney to take some pictures for my friend's kid who's playing baseball.

I'm glad you like the new job! And yikes for the truck... I am glad you got there safely, at least.

Ugh on the repairs! Liking the office sounds good though. :) Have you had a chance to look more for a house yet? Hope you can settle in and start to feel at home soon!

Glad you made it safely even though now your truck is rebelling. Take a deep breath and make sure to relax at some point!

Thanks ya'll... I've done a lot of relaxing today, I'm enjoying it so much, I am not sure I want to go to work tomorrow, lol...

the junk that goes along with moving is SUCH a pain! glad you're there safely! here's to getting settled in quickly!!!

Glad you're enjoying the new job. That really stinks about your truck though... sheesh! I'm sure you'll get settled into a routine soon and then won't feel like your head is always spinning! :)

So, you left me in this state all alone, huh?!?!?! :D

Sounds like the move went okay but yuck on the truck! It'll be alright but the Big D area is pretty crazy!

I was wondering how your move was going, Kat! Glad you are getting settled in . . . and I hope you get the truck issue taken care of soon!

I was wondering how you were doing, moving can be so stressful. I'm glad you like your office. Hope you find a nice house soon to feel more settled. :) What kind of work do you do?

Yay for liking the job! That's always a plus. Sorry to hear about the truck though. I've been there. :( New place, deployed Husband, and the transmission goes out. The stupid thing was only 3 years old! God, I hated that thing! lol.

Sorry. I'm easily distracted...hope you find a house and get settled soon. :)
