Fireworks | pad patter 7.3.17

We usually go to a show. Last year we were in the Bahamas, and we had just gotten back to our hotel room when they went off--I didn't know they would do them there. This year was spent the 4th on the beach at an amusement park. I wasn't impressed because of the coaster partially blocking my view and all the lights from the park. I like a dark sky.
 
I'm with @gonewiththewind It's hot, humid and buggy. I'd love a good fireworks show if it were gently snowing. 20+ years ago I used to go into Washington DC and watch them on The Mall (not a shopping center but the big area between the Capital and the Washington Monument). It was wonderful...and safer in those days.

Now I listen to the local sounds from my bed!
