Is anyone having an insane amount of slowness with FF??

I am thinking of trying Google Chrome but I hate change. You have no idea how long it took me to finally switch from IE to FF.

Does anyone use (and like) Chrome? Please tell me it's gonna be ok :giggle

I use Chrome but I can't stand Firefox so maybe that's not so helpful! lol

I use chrome when I have to, but it is not my favourite, otherwise I use explorer. You can install Chrome, but opt out of using it as your default browser , and just have it on your desktop for when firefox drives you nuts.

I don't do FF any more, it just hangs and it's too slow for my taste.

I am Chrome fan. Chrome can have issues, but I get so many popups with FF and IE has never been my friend, so I went to Chrome and use it mostly exclusively. It works well with most websites that I visit and has really cool add-ons to help with productivity.

I love FF and switched back to it from Chrome. The add-ons cut out the pop-ups. It has never been slow for me so I'm not sure what is going on for you. I keep Chrome and IE available and use them occasionally.

I had problems with FF a few yrs ago and made the switch to Chrome. It seemed weird at first, as I was so used to the look of FF but once I got used to it I was very happy with the switch and only use FF if I get the odd day here or there where Chrome gets glitchy (usually after an update).

I am a die hard FF fan. Have you tried updating to get rid of the slowness?

I updated and also disabled all my plug-ins and still super slow. I went ahead and downloaded Chrome for now...I am hoping FF does another update soon and it resolves.

I'm a Chrome fan. Have been for some time now, used to use FF exclusively until it became extremely unstable.
