I finished up my sister's album in the nick of time last night at 11:45 (to use a coupon for Shutterfly).

I think it turned out well. Knowing her style and what she comments on when I do regular layouts, I went from there. It ended up being 39 pages. I realized this morning I left out another photo, one from his last 3 months of life. :( I feel awful but at this point it can't be helped.

Anyway, I'm not sure it works to share a link to the album but if you are interested, here it is. I used P's Flight Plans and mostly kits from P and Sara, with a few from creashens thrown in. I did a black croc cover.

Wow - what a treasure this will be for her. It's gorgeous!

Perhaps you could include a CD of all the images and pop the missing one on there. Or - make a card using that last one to give with the gift.. I've done that before.
 
OMG, it turned out so amazing! Your sister is going to be so touched, Tali. It's such a priceless gift.

and I just had a thought, you could get a photo blown up, say a canvas of the page of the one you missed for her to hang?
 
I know, Angie. That is the very last photo taken of just the 2 of them together. The difference in his appearance was intense. And that was taken about 6 weeks before he passed. You can imagine how much he change in the last 6 weeks. Did you ever seen the photo of him and Sara and his dad at the Cubs game I arranged for them? I didn't put that photo in b/c his dad is in it, but that was taken about 2 weeks before he passed away. He wasn't really recognizable.

Ok, anyway. Thanks so much ladies. I'm very anxious to get it here and make sure it looks good. I haven't printed an album forever. In the previews the pages look awful, I'm assuming that's just a web preview issue?

She does have the photo I left out printed and in the house, so I don't feel as bad. But still.
 
It broke my heart to see their story unfold in this photo album.. so much love. You did a fabulous job keeping the focus on their story but making the pages pretty at the same time. Thanks for sharing! I know this album will be cherished forever.
 
Goodness! This is so beautiful and moved me to tears.... You are awesome Tali! I'm sure she will cherish this forever. :)

Yes. Watching him deteriorate was heart wrenching, and I don't even know them. So I can't imagine what it must have been like to watch it happen to someone you loved.
