FINALLY! iPhone 5 - who's in!?

I like how user friendly the iPhone is, so I'll stay with that. He does videos on his and he loves the large screen size. Another son of mine is also an Android fan. The rest of us all have iPhones. So, I am guessing you like the iphone better than the DroidX if you gave it to your son & have stuck with the iphone? I really, really want the instagram. I have been wishing they would come up with an app for Droid users. I think the Droidx is fairly user friendly but I would like to get an ipad too & think that it would be nice to have that to synch up to the phone too.
 
I'm due for an upgrade. Plus the volume button has fallen of my iphone. I might go the cheap route and get the iphone 4 when the 5 comes out because I'm sure the price will drop. :)
 
I would love to get an iPhone 5, but we just got iPhone 4s in February so we'll wait until the 6 comes out. Here's a really cool article about some of the rumored features that will be on the 5 with voice activated commands. That alone sounds really cool.

I was always too cheap to pay for the extra fee each month, but in Feb when Verizon got the iPhone my hubby said he was getting one no matter what because he'd wanted one since they came out. Well, if he was getting one, so was I! Now that I have an iPhone, I really don't know how i survived without it. Seriously, there are so many things I use it for that I can't live without now and I'll just mention, that I hate talking on the phone, so the phone part is really not even on the top ten reasons I love my iPhone. :)
 
as much as I love new gizmos, an iphone doesn't tempt me at all. I just want a phone I can make a phone call on and that's it :giggle
 
I don't use mine for phone calls. Even when it rings, there's only 2 people I actually answer it for. LOL

If it's pretty much only voice control that is different I think I'll stick with my iphone4, I have voice control for my ipod touch 4 and it stinks it always plays the wrong songs, it's rather annoying.
 
i just barely got my iPhone 4 in february.
i mean seriously.
do they have to keep coming out with something new?

OH yeah, there is an iphone 5 with my name on it just waiting for me to move in November :) We have to get new contracts because of our move anyway so we might as well get the iphone. Can't wait!
 
I'm actually looking forward to the new OS because I've read that we'll be able to folder our photos on the iPhone without iTunes, but right on the phone. I know it's a little thing, but I really want that!

Micheline, I'm kind of glad to know that the voice stuff doesn't work very well, because that article made it sound so cool that I want it! :)

This actually sounds like a really good idea. I think I will check to this also, to see how much the 4 goes down in price.
 
I only just got my iPhone 4 for my birthday in July so no iPhone 5 for me. :)

I really do like the iPhone better. I don't need a huge screen for my phone. It's so much easier to use and so much faster. I loved the Droid until I got the iPhone! Now I won't go back. I also love that I can do facetime with my dh and my son in Texas. I can do it with my nieces and nephews that have iPod touches too.

I want an iPad as well. My son (the Droid X user) thinks it's a huge waste of money and that I'll just be getting it because everyone else has one. He really resists popular trends for some reason. He doesn't get that I like my iPhone and all my apps, and I can have them on my iPad too.
 
Well I already own an iPhone 4 so I won't be ugrading this time around... anxious to see how everyone likes it though!
 
I had to stop by this thread b/c I want to get an iPhone 5. My husband manages the cellular account on campus here and I think he'll get a great deal on the new one. He has a 4 and I have a 3GS. So it's my turn to get the good one. He gets a lot of phones to test but apple never ever gives out a tester phone unfortunately.
 
I have the 4 and I'm happy with it. I think we'll be waiting for the 6 (I'm not even eligible for an upgrade for almost another year anyway).
 
i think i'm finally eligible for an upgrade. . . i have the 3GS, looking forward to the 5~
