Finally done reading Catching Fire...

I'm at the exact same place! Finished Catching Fire on Tuesday and started Mockingjay yesterday!
 
They are so hard to put down! I just re-loaded the trilogy on my iPod so I can listen to them all over again while I drive to work. I want to be ready for the movie!!! During my first round of listening, I would drive around the block a couple of times just to listen some more.
 
i just finished the trilogy again (for the 4th time, i think?!?) yesterday :) so, so good!

How fun Renee and Christine! You are lucky you get to start it right away. I remember waiting for Mockingjay to come out...it was brutal. :)
 
I read those last month and totally loved them! I swear I read all of them in like 2 weeks, lol. I could NOT stop reading!!
 
They are so good! Mockingjay was my least favorite... probably because I knew it was the last one!

Yes, this was me. Except, it maybe was less than two weeks!:peekin

I just re-read them again a couple of months ago. I am really excited for the movies. hoping they live up to the hype! :)

I kind of felt that way too, Karen. More because I felt like she just kind of stopped writing and wrapped it up.
 
LOL! I just finished reading Catching Fire & Mockingjay both this week too. Sooooooo good. My ds read them right before me so we've been talking all about them!!

for the 4th time? omgosh!! I've only read them once, but I'm thinking I should reread them before the movie comes out! It's been about a year since I read them.
 
I have to confess I had these on my shelf for months (thanks, Crystal!!) and I never made time to read them until last month. And then I read them in three days. :giggle Really wonderful plot and pace and I enjoyed them so much!!

Ha ha, this is why I waited until the trilogy was all published before starting. I can't stand waiting for a book to come out!

Word. The Harry Potter waits were agony.

So happy not to go through that with this series. LOL!

This is what I'm afraid of! I hate reading the last book of a series because i get so wrapped up in the characters and the plot and then I end up missing them.. lol!
 
I just finished Mockingjay last week! They were great books but I also love finishing up a series, it's kind of a relief to get it all sorted out.
 
I think this is my fourth round, too! I'm listening now at my desk at work! Don't tell!!!!

Possible SPOILER ALERT!!! I was driving to work during the part in Hunger Games where Katniss sings a song - and started bawling all over again! Had to compose myself before I came in!
 
aaaack! i can't read this thread in case there are spoilers! I'm about mid-way through Catching Fire. I am completely surprised at how much I've enjoyed this story. I didn't expect to like it... then again, I thought that about the Fever series too, so maybe I should just stop having expectations that are clearly never right *lol*
