Woo-hoo!!! It's finally DONE!!!!! :woot

Paul Baloche is an American singer/songwriter/worship leader who I've known for over 20 years. He is a close personal friend. 5 years ago, we translated his songs into French so they could be sung in churches throughout the French world. That's when we decided to do a French Paul Baloche worship album, and Paul had the guts to actually sing in French, which he can't speak!! It was a huge success, so we talked of doing a second one for a long time... After working on the second set of translations for over a year and on the recording since March, the 2nd Paul Baloche French CD is DONE!!! My husband recorded many of the singers in our little basement studio. Others were recorded in France, and I flew down to Texas to coach Paul with his French vocals. He did great! His son, David, who I used to babysit back in 1993, sings on #04 and 12. Both Paul and his son started studying French when we worked on the first album, and his daughter, Cherie, is now studying French in France for a year.

yeah on being done, and I still look at the first CD cover and shiver with happy that I know LM and you know the same Savior and worship him so remarkable with the gift He gave you! ♥
 
I'm going to listen to the album when I get home! I can only imagine the happiness you are feeling right now, it's amazing LM!! congrats!!
 
yup... still star struck LOL such a huge fan of his worship lyrics and music and I literally am getting chills hearing some of my fave worship songs in French, totally a little taste of what Heaven is going to be like :wub

seriously though, so very excited that it's complete and pray that it will be used to glorify God all over the world in a huge way! :heartslub
 
WOW! How very cool! I totally know his music... especially the older stuff. How awesome that he is doing albums in French now. And you are a Super Star, Lynne-Marie, hehe.

I've been checking out his music and I see he's worked w/ Bebo Norman. He's from Columbus (where I live) and is a friend of mine. Well, his sister and BIL are really good friends and go to the church my DH pastors. How neat to see the connection there.

I'm gonna have to DL the Glorious album from iTunes (in English, LOL).

How very exciting for you all!
 
I love the sound of the French language . . . I know none of it, but it's so beautiful to listen to. And wow, I kinda, sorta know someone famous now? LOL

Congrats to all of you. You know what I love as well. I love how his family seems to be following him into French speaking. Way cool!

@Lori, French is (one of) the most beautiful language, even when you swear in the most awful way! :giggle (check out Matrix Reloaded and Lambert Wilson performance :giggle )
 
I am a huuuuuge fan of worship music... I am in awe of what you've done here LM. Wow!! And seriously...artistic talent and a great singing voice...what gifts!! <3

Congrats on the finished product. You should be so proud of what you have accomplished LM! The songs I listened to were beautiful and I agree French is a very beautiful language.
 
Congrats...amazing, supre beautiful and so inspiring...like Heather said...it gives me goose bumps, always LOVED gospel music, since I was a little girl, and in Frnech ios so amazing, had never heard it before in French...
I studied French in secondary school for 5 years, {until 1975) but then not using it, one looses the graps...we took my mum to Paris in 2006, and I was suprised as to how well I communicated, and then again in Brussels in 2007....lately I have been practising by reading Renee's journaling :) even though I dont get it all, I can get the spirut of it...and now with Violaine...we are trying to communicate in Frenglais LOL so I will put more attention try to get the lyrics.... awesome,

Thanks everyone! After we settle into our new home we'll be finishing up an album of our own... our first! We've participated in many projects for others, but never one of our own creations! This one will be mostly my husband's songs in French, but I also hope to release some singles in English! I'll be sure to let you know about them!
 
How exciting that will be! Please do a bit in English b/c as beautiful as the French language is, I cannot understand a word, LOL. Such a cool venture.
 
YAY L-M! What an amazing experience! Congratulations!!! I'm so thrilled for you!! I remember listening to the first release and this is just as beautiful. I echo what Heather said...such a moving experience to hear these songs! Uplifting! I'm excited to hear what you and your husband record together in future! :beat
