I'm not feeling well today. Runny nose, can't hear out of my right ear and I'm oh so tired (up all night, sneezing). I just got up to get some more water, meds and tissues and then I'm going back to bed to see if I can sleep it off.

That got me wondering what others do when they're not feeling well, but it's not bad enough to warrant a doctor's visit. Please share your go-to methods for feeling better quick!

Feel better @keepscrappin Kayla.. hope it is just an allergy or cold.. get rest and feel better. I just drink lots of water and sleep it off.

Also if you have it, get / take some airborne tablets...when I am going to be around people in a small group I pop them.. they are a boost of Vit C which helps. We will be going to the movies Friday to see the Secrets of Dumbledore at the Cinema Cafe.. we bought the tickets today and picked our seats.. since I know there will be kids there (even though we are going to the 10:30am showing), I will take airborne in the morning!

Feel Better!

Feel better soon, Kayla @keepscrappin - lots of water, hot tea always tastes good to me, too.

I have to be REALLY sick to stay in bed. I've always joked that "I work through it". I started saying that when the kids were home. Only nausea takes me down - because I also get dizzy. Can't work through that. Fortunately, I don't have that very often! I hadn't had it for years, but was "blessed" after my covid shots AND booster! UGH!

I sleep, sleep, sleep! If I'm achy I take a bath, but only if I don't have a fever. Feel better soon!!

Take to my bed and drink as much water as I can keep down ... usually I only take to my bed when I've got a stomach bug ... which I had last week. Managed to give it to both of my grandsons even though we kept our distance. Ugh!!!

Feel better soon!

Well, I'm not feeling sick, but my back is in revolt so I am doing all kinds of things to be kind to myself over the past 10 days.

Take a warm shower, and have your showerhead massage your face at your sinuses.

Fix a favorite beverage. Tea with honey is always good for sore throats, but otherwise, I love having a spritzer of ginger ale with a dash of white grape juice.

Make sure you have all the things you need on a tray that is nearby. For head/nose/throat, put tissues, cough drops, lip balm, lotion, etc. on the tray. You can take it to different rooms without worrying about dropping things.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Kayla. I caught a yucky cold from my sister while we were in Mexico and there was one day that nothing but a nap was going to help me. That's usually how I try to feel better... lots of water or tea and just sleep through it. I hope you feel better today!

Thanks everyone! The rest helped me yesterday. I think my allergies turned into a cold but hopefully I’m on the mend. At least I’m feeling better than yesterday and I’m going to take it slow to make sure I don’t overdo it.
