Feeling hopelessly behind

yep! I unfortunately am still working on the last week of July... I doubt I will finish this year and this makes me so sad. :(

Have you considered changing your format? You could do monthly or you could do Stacy Julian's Library of Memories style organization, and have ategories like "People We Love", "Things We Did" etc.

But either way, you don't have to record EVERY memory! I mean, my mom only took pictures of the big events in my life, and look how happy I am despite her shortcoming. ; )

Kellie :giggle
Good thing she didn't totally screw you up by only taking pics of major events!! I mean...that could have been BAD!

Haha, you guys are totally cracking me up!
We can do this--I am off the week of Thanksgiving and am hoping to get some major catch up done then. This month has been busy but good and I just need to make myself sit down and do it.

Kellie, I actually will probably just do the months together as many photos as I have instead of doing weekly. I just need to get pictures edited and exported so that I can drop them in to templates.

:)
My format so far has been 2 or more pages for each week. There's just NO WAY that will continue to work through the end of the year. I'm definitely going to have to switch it up. I MIGHT be able to pull off one 12x12 per week...or maybe per 2 weeks. We'll see. If there's not much to use for a week, I'm not against skipping it altogether.

My real problem in productivity right now (besides the lack of free time to scrap) is that all these cute DYD and Christmas products are about to come out... I'm in SUCH a mood for Christmas scrapping, that I'm afraid I'll ignore PL altogether.

You and me both Rebecca! I had to hide my DYD/DD supplies from myself, so I could focus on other things!!

There are some great tips here. I too adopted the idea of working out of order... because when we have major events, I get hung up on the amount of photos. It's always so, so many photos. ACK!
Skipping around works best for me. This was not easy to adapt. I am semi OCD and the idea of pages being out of order makes my eyes twitch. Somehow I manage to ignore the eye thing and have accomplished a great deal more than I did last year. There is something about being able to work on a current week - with fresh memories and new photos and even new product that keeps me going. Then in my free time (hahahahaha) :giggle I work on previous weeks.

i have sometimes just 1 page fora week, waht i do than in making the other week wich sometimes is just 1 pages as well making in the same style as the previous one, so it doens;t look really messy,

Success!! I finally finished up tonight the first two weeks of September! It feels so good to make some progress--it isn't much progress, but some!
