I have a day off today, like a lot of people in the States, and I am so glad I just get to hang out in my jammies, in my favorite room (my bedroom) and just scrap and watch a new-to-me series on Apple TV. No chores, no errands, not leaving the house!

What’s your favorite room in your house?

My favorite room is the great room! I love the brick fireplace wall with the builtins and the big windows along the back of the house, so I can see outside. My bedroom is a close second because we have an adjustable bed, so I can stay in bed and watch tv. It's also got big windows so I can open the shades to see out to the backyard.

What are you watching on appletv+? We got the apple one premier plan for the family apple music and icloud storage, and I need to use the other services that are included more. We watched F1 on appletv+ on Saturday... gotta love Brad Pitt. :heartlub

My favorite room is the living room. I love to lounge on the couch.

My office. It's the warmest room in the house on these cold days and it's where I scrap and watch what I want to watch :)

Our office. That's also where the birds are :lol we have a couple of cats "left over" from my previous relationship. They are getting old and I don't have the heart to rehome them. But I would much rather hang with my birds. So office it is! (I promise the cats gets lots of cuddles too, they have almost the whole house)

I have a favorite room but my favorite chair is in a different room. I have the most fun in my home office, where I do all the things I do on my computer: play with photos, scrap, journal, connect with people online, watch videos . . . But my favorite chair is a big old comfy chair in the corner of my bedroom next to an east-facing window. I see a lot of sunrises there in this cold, dark half of the year (I often get out for morning walks before sunrise in the summer) while I listen to podcasts and color and play word games.

I loved F1...that was fun, especially because my son is really into F1 racing. I'm watching Tehran today. Scary! My roommate is Persian, so this hits too close to home.

I miss having birds...they were entertaining. Cats are, too, but also stand-offish sometimes. I had a bird that like to get in the cage with our guinea pigs, pick up a piece of their bedding, herd them into a corner, and then sit on the edge of the cage with the piece in its mouth like their prison guard!

Well, it's too bad you can't have our favorite chair in your favorite room, but I get they are for different purposes. I wish I had a comfy chair! My room's too full to accommodate one.

Mine is my office/craft room.

I have a very comfortable office chair where I spend the most time. I have a double card table adjacent to my desk (to make an L shape desk area) that I use for many things. Right now it has a cross stitch project on it. When I work on genealogy all the papers can be spread out on it. It is big enough to do a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle as well. If I want to paper scrap, I've got the area to do it. And since I'm by myself, I use the table to eat my meals and watch TV while eating.

I also have a small sofa in the room. Peyton spends a lot of time on it, especially if I'm on it. The Saturday after Christmas I was really sick and I spent 5 days on the couch with a lot of naps. And, my office is right next to the bathroom... thankfully! So it made sense to nap there instead of the bedroom.

Hmmm... I think my craft room is probably my favorite room because that's where all my creative time is spent, but I also love our living room since we got a super comfy sectional couch a few years ago and that's where my hubby and I hang out together too.

Wow! It sounds like you have an practical and efficient set up there! I love it! Hope you're feeling better now!

I just redid my desk area MASSIVELY. Pulling another table from elsewhere in the house & repurposing to basically double my workable desk top crafting space. It's been two weeks & I'm still IN LOVE with the area & being pretty good about leaving a surface clear on it for art. Also stole old makeup organizers that I neglected years ago to repurpose for sorting craft things on the desk. Now just need it to warm up a little because this part of the house is pretty drafty right under the desk so cold toes, lol.

I love you find a way to create more space for your creative work. I hate having cold toes...may the warm days return soon!
