So, I could not help myself...I started watching Holiday movies BEFORE Thanksgiving :lol

And as I scroll through Amazon Music playlists....Holiday Tunes are the current rage! Just like the movies!

So, I have to ask...

What is your favorite Holiday song?

Similar to so many other things, I do not have a favorite...I have lots of them!!! Including:
- Must Be Santa
- Little Drummer Boy
- The Christmas Song (Nat King Cole)
- Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree (Brenda Lee)
- O Holy Night (from the hubby)

My absolute favorite is "Do You Hear What I Hear". My favorite version of it is by Home Free Home Free - Do You Hear What I Hear? - YouTube with a version by Rick Springfield coming in 2nd.

A new favorite is another song written and performed by Home Free called "Snow Globe" Home Free - Snow Globe - YouTube

Another that I have liked for a long time is a version by The Oak Ridge Boys of "Thank God For Kids" Oak Ridge Boys - Thank God For Kids - YouTube

"O Holy Night" is another I can listen to a lot especially this version by Home Free Home Free - O' Holy Night - YouTube

I get too emotional hearing the classic Christmas carols because my mother loved them so much. It just makes me miss her so much more especially since she passed away the day after Christmas. I broke down at work one year when a high school choral group came to sing Christmas carols. One they sang was "Joy To The World" and it was one of Mom's favorites. It was an emotional time for me as I had just put my 2 dogs down earlier that month so with their loss and that song, I couldn't take it. I can no longer listen to it.

A fun song I found recently is “Sleigh Ride” by Karmin (I like a lot of Karmin’s music). Another is “Baby It’s Cold Outside” by Tyler Ward (and another artist that I can’t remember).

“A Christmas Together” by John Denver (and The Muppets) is my favorite Christmas album of all time because I grew up with it.

“You Make It Feel Like Christmas” by Gwen Stefani is my favorite new Christmas album.

“Silent Night” Is my favorite slow song.

Any Christmas song sung by this man:

The song is in Swedish, but you'll recognize it. You never heard it sung this well though :agree

I have a select few that I really like, but this is my favorite by far (both versions)

My all time fave that I listen to numerous times throughout the season is THE RIVER by Robert Downey Jr (one of my fave actors and loved him on Ally McBeal, he sang this song to her).

Had to also share my second fave of all time. This song gives me chills every time I hear it.
MARY DID YOU KNOW by Pentatonix

My poor husband....I keep playing all these tunes! Thank you for sharing all! :beat

I love, love, love Christmas music. I have a Christmas playlist that I love. Here are a few of my favs.

Angels from the Realms of Glory by The Piano Guys
All is Well Michael W Smith and Carrie Underwood
Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie
The Prayer by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli
Little Drummer Boy by Pentatonix
