Tonight is family movie night at my house and I am busting out my very favorite holiday move....The Polar Express. I never get tired of it. We need to add a few new movies to our line-up this year. What are your favorites?

Christmas with the Kranks, The George C Scott version of A Christmas Carol and of course, A Christmas Story

My favorite is White Christmas. A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation are my daughter's and husband's choices. I think they both like each one equally.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is our favourite by far and I admit to watching Elf more than once as well :)

Elf, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, The Polar Express, Charlie Brown & the other classics Frosty & Rudolph ...

I saw a great so-dumb-it-was-awesome Christmas movie on TV recently: Surviving Christmas! Ben Affleck, James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate & Catherine O'Hara. I'm adding this to my annual must-watch Christmas movie list! :)

Oh I forgot Fred Claus with Vince Vaughn, it's not 'wow, awesome' but it's Vince Vaughn being himself......I have watched Dodgeball so manpy times and still giggle :)

miracle on 34th street is still a fav and and I have to watch Love Actually, there are so many I could watch Christmas movies for days

Ok, so every year these threads pop up, and every year no else mentions my favorite... MIXED NUTS! It's such a funny, great Christmas movie. My other favorites are classic Rudolph, Elf, Christmas Vacation, and A Christmas Story.

Christmas Vacation is my favorite. My family used to watch it every year on Thanksgiving day and I just love remembering my Dad's laughing at all the antics in that movie. Once we started having kids we obviously couldn't watch that one anymore, but I just last weekend was able to find that movie on ABC Family and set the DVR to record it. I haven't watched it through yet, but I'm hoping that means they've removed all the bad language, so maybe my kids can watch it this year. Of course, those are some of the best moments, so maybe it'll ruin the movie.

Hihi, I saw many christmas movies but I always forget their names. So great to see them all listed up here!

It's a wonderful Life & Miracle on 34th street... I have been watching the hallmark channel and have been enjoying all the Christmas movies

I love The Polar Express... and then my favorites are the old claymation movies... Santa Clause Is Coming To Town, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, and The Year Without Santa Clause...

oh... and I love The Grinch, Elf, and Arthur Christmas....Just lovable characters.

All good picks! Thanks, ladies! I think we are going to have to watch Christmas Vacation this weekend. It's such silly fun.

I don't have a favorite, I just love them, the more sappy the better! I especially love the Hallmark channel movies during the holidays!

I actually love Jingle All the Way with Arnold Schwarzen....?spelling & Phil Hartman - i can't wait til my kids are older and i can show it to them and say 'see? this is what we went thru every year when u changed your list at the last minute and wanted toy X, then Y, then Z for xmas!'.

Anyway, the last few years we've all liked the Prep & Landing elf features, Arthur Christmas and the kids love Tim Allen's Santa Clause movies. I used to watch Dolly Parton's Smokey Mountain Christmas pretty well every boxing day when i was in school - not sure what i loved about it so much (she did seem a bit like a singing Snow White to me at the time) but it was tradition almost

For family movies, we also are big fans of Polar Express!!
For adult humor, 4 Christmases!! "Mistletoe" :giggle

Ohhhh we love Christmas movies! It's a Wonderful Life is my most favorite -- and probably my most favorite movie, period. We also love A Christmas Carol, Elf, Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street, The Polar Express...

Tonight we are watching A Christmas Carol, the Muppets version.
