I'm about ready to head out the door to meet my daughter Emma. We are going to look at spots that would be nice as my son is getting his senior photos taken this Sunday. BUT....
We are also going to a Cider Mill which is one of my favorite fall activities to do. Oh Yum that crisp fresh cider and then those warm pumpkin donuts right out of the fryer!

What do you love to do in your area in the fall?

Sounds like a fun day! Enjoy!

My favorite activity is to get out and take pics of the beauty of Autumn... Here in Wisconsin we enjoy the color change at it's best. :-)

Fall is usually only a few hours in my little town...lol I exaggerate, but it does go fast. I love to have that last lawn mow, and clip all the bushes back day. We do it all together, and it is a fun time. Winter comes in rather fast and it doesn't stay very long...but I know that summer is itching to get here the whole time!! lol

Friday night high school football games and bonfires with the neighbors!! :)

Also - getting home form work and throwing on my comfy flannel jammie pants and fuzzy socks when I know we're in for the night. :giggle

Fall is my favorite season so I have many favorite things to do! I squeeze in as many as I can because winter here is ROUGH & COLD & LOOOOOONG.

We go apple picking & to the pumpkin patch. We also rake leaves & take pictures in the piles. One of the county parks has hayrides & bonfires on weekend nights. I don't really care about Halloween but the kids love to ToT, of course, and DD's school has a trunk or treat event the weekend before (and it makes me feel better if they wear their costumes more than once, too).

There are basically two seasons in Montreal. Road Work and Winter. The very second fall was "Official"- nights got cold and leaves started turning and falling. Road work isn't quite complete, so we may have a few days before frost and snow. Hopefully an Indian Summer.

Spring in Montreal is much better. Sugar Shacks and early bulbs. I guess i like the hopes of spring better than decisiveness of fall here.

I came from Pennsylvania, where the amazing beautiful long warm colorful fall goes on and on. Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, all the preparations for Thanksgiving. I miss those things.

Pumpkin pie from Costco! Huge and only $5.99. I've eaten half of one so far because he doesn't like pumpkin! I also love having the windows open ...finally...with cool, chilly breezes coming in. I've gotta enjoy it while he is in FL cause I know when he gets back, he'll turn the heat on. :badmood

I am not a huge fan of fall (it makes me depressed thinking about winter just around the corner), but I do love carving pumpkins for Halloween and checking out the fall decor at the botanical gardens.

It's also usually when I plan vacations somewhere sunny and warm (see above), but since I already have the next two planned out and booked (yay!!!) that won't be happening!

I love Costco pumpkin pie! Seriously the best.

I like going to the pumpkin patch. There's a few different ones we've visited the last few years. It usually means a drive because all the close by patches are just set up for the month with pumpkins plopped everywhere and jump houses for kids. I like ones with a more convincing farm atmosphere, where they might have actually picked the pumpkins!

Doing a corn maze or haybale maze is fun too. Drinking apple cider as it starts getting chilly here - yum!

Daniel is allergic to hay . . . YES, allergic to hay, so pumpkin patches, hay rides, farm activities, etc., throws his poor allergies into high gear and he can hardly breathe. We avoid them. Not that I'm complaining, because walking anywhere is still a challenge. Plus, even though we are in Northwest Florida, fall really doesn't hit until October or November, and doesn't have the typical foliage changes.

Now, I do love a good cup of tea and I love to sit on my porch when the heat and humidity is not so oppressive. Everything is still green and lush. I also love being able to open the windows and let the air flow through . . . we run the AC so much most of the year, and it's always a good opportunity to air out the house.

Going to the NC State Fair in a couple of weeks - might still be shorts weather - might be hoodie weather. Taking lots of pictures of the fall leaves. Bonfires with friends. Growing new grass (we are in the South, y'all). And rejoicing that the humidity has turned off until next April or so. And best of all - spending a week away with just me and hubby | going to Myrtle Beach this year.

We don't really have fall weather here where we live but my favorite thing is that our schools give the kids a week off in October for Fall Break. It is the perfect time to travel - the weather is usually nice everywhere in the US and it's much less crowded than traveling in the summer.
