OK, So Audible.com is having a sale on a lot of the Danielle Steel books

http://www.audible.com/mt/Danielle-Steel-Sale/?source_code=AUDOREM0624159DZO

This is for members so not sure if you can see the link. Anyway, I have NEVER read a Danielle Steel book. I know, right? I just never have.

Anyway, I was considering trying one or two for that price but have no clue which ones are the best.

Any favorite DS books? Any DS fans? Have I been missing out?

OH... disclaimer. I HATE books (or movies) with sad endings. I require them to end well or I just get flat out MAD. This is entertainment, after all, who needs heartbreak when they are trying to escape reality!

Jen, unless it is a super offer, just see the films ! She has very good stories, most if not all ending well, but she repeats herself, a lot , I am trying to imagine what that is like to listen to, since it must be harder to skip , and I can't .
If you still decide you want to buy , she has 2 that starts in Europe in the war , and then the stories move to America. One is called The ring I think, cant remember the other, ( not so much repeating there as far as I remember, read them years ago. )
Edit;
Just clicked on the link, If you just stand on the books a quick résumé, comes up , together with a review comment, one of them called it copy and paste writing again and again..... I rest my case :giggle

LOL. Guess I'll check them out closer. I've just heard her name a bunch, but not for a while.

I used to read every one of her books. Not a lot of substance, but an easy read. I finally reached the point where they were all the same, book after book. I haven't read her stuff for years. But of her older ones, I liked Star, Lightening, and Mixed Blessings.

Same as Julie, used to read all of her books back in the day, but after a time they were all the same. It's been so long ago, I honestly don't recall my faves, but you might be able to go by which ones they've made into Lifetime, lol!
