I love cookbooks and have quite a collection. Anytime I have a new one to look through I get so happy. :happydance2 I also love food blogs and magazines. I just subscribed to the Vegetarian Times and Body and Soul.

So I was wondering what are your favorite cookbooks? Please share!

Here are some of mine ~
My newest - The Foster's Market Cookbook - so many yummy recipes and great how to's as well.
More than just a cookbook, and what inspired me to become a vegetarian The Kind Diet
I love all the Barefoot Contessa books but this is probably my fave Family Style
Just good food Everyday Italian
Very informative book on how and what to eat, love her blog too Super Natural Cooking

I love cookbooks too!! Here are some of my favorites:

I love most Junior League cookbooks, but this one is probably my favorite Notably Nashville.
Perfect Recipes for Having People Over--lots of good recipes, but I love that with every recipe is a box that gives lots of suggestions of what you could serve it with, variations, how far ahead you can make it, will it freeze well, etc.
Pioneer Woman Cooks--seriously, good food and entertaining on top of it all-- and most of it is fairly easy, normal ingredients and fattening :)
Also love America's Test Kitchen cookbooks like this one.
Sarah's Secrets for Weeknight Meals gets pulled out alot in summer when I don't want to cook forever.

those are probably my top few that I use all the time...Micah teases me that I collect cookbooks (I have like 50!), but I just love to read them and try new stuff.

I second Pioneer Woman Cooks! Love that book! I am the type that needs pictures of the step by step to be sure mine looks right! HAHAHA!

My favourite cook book is for vegetables, because I find we get in a rut too often with them. The Victory Garden Cookbook.
.

This was out of print for many many years (mine was published in 1982), and it looks like they finally reprinted in March, so I'm ordering 3 more to give to my sisters + mom.:yippee

These are great girls, keep them coming. I have picked up Pioneer Woman Cooks a few times in the bookstore and was turned off by the step by step pictures. I need to check it out again though. I am a sucker for pretty pictures of food. I rarely buy a book that doesn't have lots of pictures.
