Are any family names special to you?
Not particularly

Are you named after anyone?
My first name is from a girl on my dad’s mission, and my middle name is from my mom’s best friend.

Or did you name your kids after anyone? Or even a pet?
Oldest: first name random, middle name religious
Middle: first name from a girl from my husband’s mission, middle name from my maternal grandma
Youngest: first name random/religious, middle name the same as his dad’s middle name to carry on the middle name tradition from that side of the family.

Do you have favorite names?
When I was little I liked a boy named Jesse so I always wanted a girl named Jessica for half his name and half my name. I didn’t marry a Jesse so I didn’t use the name Jessica lol I also liked the name Jervica when I was little.

What about nicknames? Got any that you'd like to share?

Are any family names special to you? Yes, my mom and dad's names - Anna & Theodore.

Are you named after anyone? First name- no (Judith) but my middle name is Ann for my mom.

Or did you name your kids after anyone? Or even a pet? My son & daughter each were not named after anyone with their first name (James & Elizabeth) but their middle names were more meaningful. My son was given Royce as his middle name which was his paternal grandfather's middle name. If you've seen my recent grandson layouts, you've seen that my son & DIL named him Royce in turn. My daughter's middle name is also Ann - another tribute to my mother.

Our cats over the years have been named Nicki (Nicodemus), Angel, Smoky, Amber, Lou, Circe, and Sammy.

Do you have favorite names? Not particularly, as in saved them to use in naming.

What about nicknames? Got any that you'd like to share? My first name is Judith but I've always been called Judy. My husband likes to call me Judith Ann sometimes. When I was in high school, my nickname was Ski because I'm Polish and our last name ended in -ski. I think of bonnenuit as a nickname because it's my current last name translated into French.
 
Are any family names special to you? I love family names and love when others include them when naming their children.
Are you named after anyone? My grandparents were friends with a family whose last name was Shannon and that is where my name came from.
Or did you name your kids after anyone? Or even a pet? My son, Hunter, is after my Mom’s maiden name. My granddaughter has my middle name Marie as part of her middle name. Our dogs all have county singer name…Hank, June, and Cash.
Do you have favorite names? Charlotte after my 2nd great grandmother, Gracie, Hazel after my great grandmother. If we had a boy his name would have been Lane Jason after my husband Jason (Lane comes from a bull rider that my husband liked his name is Lane Frost.)
What about nicknames? Got any that you'd like to share? My husband always called Hunter Turkey and I often called him Fred. Kasey has the nickname Monkey. I’m not sure why but that is just what we have been calling her. My nickname is T-Rex. I am T-Rex to my niece and nephew. I even have a T-Rex tattoo on my arm.
