WORDLE: It started with my middle one telling me all about it - I had seen some posting on Facebook but I wasn't intrigued. Then he challenged me and I beat him the first time and I am hooked.

Wordle New York Times

It's a little like mastermind of old - where yellow means the correct letter in the wrong spot and green means the correct letter in the correct spot.

We post our results on the family whatsapp group and all weigh in.
It's been a fun bonding thing with the my adult kids (and attachments) outside of the home.

Is there anything you do to connect everyone each day?
I sometimes post cat meme's/jokes as my whatsapp status.
Hubby posts dad jokes on the group.
I will post photos of the local geese family as we catch glimpses of them and the cats, it can be a no pressure reminder of home and of love.
I am always open to new ideas and creative inspiration though - so please share?

It’s just me and hubby so not a whole lot.

I don’t get to see my sister often so I try to text her a funny meme just to let her know I am thinking of her

I get a good morning GIF every single day from my friend ( and send her one back ) I get a goodnight one from an other

My husband and 3 older daughters exchange cat gifs every night before bed. It's like their way of saying good night. I sort of felt left out but then realized it's a way for them to bond...in their own way. Plus I'm not really a gif person.

We do have a family chat group where we talk about things.
We have different ones for different family members.

I go through phases of playing different word games with my older girls, but right now we aren't into anything.

My 16 year old and I both play Blockudoku (sort of a cross between Sudoku and a Tetris-ish game). We like to do a race to complete the daily challenge each morning. She usually wins.

This is a good question. We have a family text group where we share various things about our day. Our son is very into politics and sports so he sends out updates on those. I mostly send pictures of the dogs. :D
