The first thing I do is go get the paper to see what I've said this time that I shouldn't have.

Ahhh politics. :giggle

Last night was a candidate meet and greet which was pretty scary. Luckily no one grilled me too hard, and I think I handled the reporters ok. To think this is only just beginning... what have I gotten myself into?!

One candidate dropped out, so there are now 6 of us running for 3 school board positions. Then in January, those 3, along with one existing member will appoint another. And in May those 4 will appoint a 5th.

I can barely keep up with the scandal in this town. lol

Hahaha, the first thing I do each morning is check to see if Emily has anything happy for me to play with, lol. It has way less potential for humiliation.

But come on now, YOU? Say something you shouldn't have? Nah.

I hope you get elected. When is the election?

Everyone knows I'm obnoxious, so... whatever. :rofl

The election is November 5th. It will be a miracle if I survive 2 months of this.

Angie I enjoy reading your posts here and on FB. I would never want to run for office or deal with the reporters.
 
It's a small town, so it's always just the same 2 reporters. At least I'm not dealing with a million of them.
 
Good luck with the election. How small is your town? I've always said I wanted to live in a quieter, small town. Here in Vancouver with millions of people, there is no quiet place.
 
Not THAT small. It's 30k people, but it has a small town feel. I don't know EVERYONE, but I certainly know someone who knows them. Lol

my morning consists of getting the 2 eldest out of bed in time to have breakfast wash and get off to school,getting tea prepared,i do hate the first hour of school days
