Ereaders

I have the ipad the iphone and the kindle and love all of them,i love the ipad for in bed because can read it in the night with light off and i love the kindle for the bath as its light weight and can pop that in my bag to for holidays and days out

Isn't the kindle backlit? Why can't you read it at night?

One good thing about the Kobo app (and there are bad things too) is it has night reading mode where it makes the page black and the text white. So I can read next to DH without the light from my phone annoying him. Before I started using that I had to hide under the covers and then my phone wold get all steamy! lol

My kindle's not backlit, which is the reason I chose it! I spend long enough looking at monitors / backit screens I wanted to give my eyes a break! :lol There are versions of the kindle that are backlit though.

no mine isnt it either and thats also the reason i had it because the glare on the ipad was straining my eyes plus id get distracted by the internet and facebook on the ipad so would never read anything lol

I bought a Nook just before Christmas last year and loved reading on the eInk. Then in Feb last year I got an iPhone and started reading on that in bed and I've never used my Nook since. I actually sold it to a friend at work a few months ago. I love how small and light my phone is and I can lay on my side in bed without the light on and read until I fall asleep and I never lose my page. :) I also feel like I can read faster on my phone because the lines of text are shorter and I don't have to search for the next line done as much. My iPad was too heavy and the lines for too long and I kept losing my place. :) But, to each his own, right?

I have about 100 on mine. But I have them sorted into Categories, so all I have to do is find the category I want to read, then pick a book out of there. Yes...OCD kicks in again!
