Do y'all ever look at a collection and immediately feel a connection to it? I LOVE Lynne-Marie's Medic kit, but I especially love the journal cards. They just touched my soul, so I printed them off and stuck them on some cards that I'm repurposing. I used foam dots to give it some depth and decided against any other embellishments so that the words were the focus. I'll eventually make all of them, but here are the two I started with. Unfortunately, sister really needs some encouragement in her life right now, so I know this will be perfect for her! (Ignore the bad photos, I'm trying to learn how to better share these with y'all).

I think your idea is a fabulous idea! But, I have not made such little journal cards (came close with tags!). Was thinking too how easy it could be to print these larger and make a card for mailing.

I love these! Yay for repurposing! I think your photo looks great. :) The photography aspect is what scares me away from sharing hybrid projects.

Wonderful, what a great idea.
Thank you Carol! I love sending cards, but they can be so expensive. My family knows that I don't let much go to waste, so when they send me a card, most of the time I'll inevitably change it up and send it to someone else :P They know it's not because I'm throwing away their efforts or because I don't care about their cards, it's soley so I can spread the love :)

I don't know about enlarging them as I don't know what it does to the quality, but you can easily mat it in front of a larger piece and either send that like a postcard, or make your own card like I did. I love sending (and receiving!!) cards. This is easy and cheap and everyone appreciates the notes of encouragement :)

Monica, have you SEEN my projects???? No great photography here for sure! That's the next thing I'm working on. But in the meantime, I'm gonna share away (with the disclaimer that I stink at taking pictures hehehehehe). Who knows, maybe one of my cards or projects will inspire someone else. Stranger things have happened. :rofl

These are lovely, and I love how they turned out! It's thoughtful!

What a great idea and nice and simple. I used to make a ton of stamped cards and I love having a stash ready to go when I needed a card.

Beautiful cards! I know what you mean by getting a connection to a kit, I love when that happens. Making your own cards are so fun and I always have some cards laying around at home for when it’s needed.
