So Wes and I are starting to register for things. Tell me, what can you not live without.

We have a kitchen aid and a kureg. But other than that...

Tell me your favorite kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom stuff.

:luvya

Thanks!!!

oh my! this is my love! you can find cheaper ones!

and well, i couldn't live without this, either!

i have no idea to be honest. we have lived without quite a bit in our day, so it's hard for me to name something i CAN'T live without. i guess i would say a good knife set for the kitchen. and a pair of kitchen shears. and it seems i can never have enough cutting boards. and spoons and measuring cups. but that stuff is pretty basic.

I really love cooking with the stainless steel pots. I buy mine at our discount store TJ Maxx. Ross and Marshalls are also great places to look if you are trying to shop on a budget. However I am sure almost anywhere you might be registering will carry them. FYI The teflon coated pots and pans are really bad for us when the coating comes off and I am bad to use whatever utensil is handy for stirring which scratches the teflon.

I can't cook without my big 12" pan w/glass lid and I also love my toaster oven. New bathroom towels are a always fun and a good floor mat for in front of the shower. I say that because I bought a cheap one last time and I hate it!

Girl, I went years without a skillet and now....love it!

Melanie---I love my skillet! I just made the kiddos and Grandpa next door some breakfast!

Rebecca just reminded me I need a new pair of kitchen shears. They really are a necessity and mine are so dull. (i think that is because when I am not looking someone uses them for other things...just sayin'.

I second the kitchen shears and a good set of knives.

Plastic or bamboo kitchen utensils! So many people I know who are just getting married only have metal for some reason (which are good to have too btw) BUT if you get anything that is teflon you can't use metal on that.

Good food storage containers. Not just for leftovers, but for cereals, rice, flour, sugar, and all that stuff. It'll lower your likelihood of getting bugs.

Bathroom extra storage space stuff if you don't have it!! Even if you don't think you keep that much in your bathroom, you'll be quickly amazed at how much you two keep in there when you only have 2-3 drawers and the two of you are fighting over what goes where.

I second a Dyson.

I also have a casserole dish from a range called microstoven that you can use in the microwave and stovetop and in the oven. I use it a lot, especially for potatoes that I brown on the stove then put the in the oven.
