right so, I need to scrap beach photos that have a gorgeous, bluer than blue skies, therefore I don not want to use blue papers, it has to be colors that will bring up the pictures....

what would you have?
if you can link me up to the store, that would save time too!!!

thanks :heartlub

yes, I have it, love it, but doesn't work.
I also got Just Add Water from Val, but the papers don't work either :(

I'm NOT having a good day, that may have something to do with it too....

I love beach photos on a lighter/white background as I find that really lets the colors of the photos shine. Then adding in pops of color from a bit of small patterned paper and elements. Some of my favorites for beach/water layouts have teals, navys, yellows, peaches, golds, and sandy tans. One Little Bird has a lot that fits this bill:

***sorry - I forget how to link with the store photo!

Lori thanks!
I ll go have a look at these now

Laura, thanks, yes, I ll make them smaller and bring them in (if I post here I think they ll be huge as they are)
bbs:)

You know we gotta see pics now :) If you want the blue to stand out, maybe keep a neutral background and just bits of blue elements to tie it all in. Also depends on if you want a softer, washed kind of look to your page or do you want a more vibrant, punchy look?

Thanks the two Loris!!!!!!!

WOW! Gorgeous photos Cynthia! I want to go wherever that is right now!

Oh dear.. why did you have to show us photos?? I want to go there right now! :giggle

What about this one?

Those pics are AMAZING! So jealous - I want to go there!! My husband and I are trying to figure out where to go for five days that's warm in late March or late April. I've been looking at southern states, but maybe I need to go more tropical!

LOL you all!!!!!

This is North East Brasil, the area where the Portuguese discovered Brazil, in the State of Bahia- Main Town is Porto Seguro (Safe Port)
and this is a beach you get to by crossing the river in a barge (with your car or on foot) or you can go around, there is a road which you will take about half an hour more than with the barge... the village is called Trancoso, the one where Sarita's God Parents live, some of our family and lots of friends, some "chosen" family... :)
We lived there for 3 years from Sarita's 2 ish till 5 years old, moved at first with her dad (this was just when he was diagnosed and none of his family would help me here so I had to move us where I had help) Sarita had the blessing of having eaten all stuff coming from our garden, fish that was caught some hours before ....climbing trees and eating fruit from them.... priceless.
It is absolutely breath taking indeed, I will try put together some pages with info...
but if anyone has a chance to go to Brazil (the dollar is quiet strong against Brazilian currency at the mo) I can get you super good prices all around this area - :)

I made the double pager with different photos but will be scrapping these soon for sure :)

Thanks so much for the links!!!
