A few months ago I had a major clear out of my email account and unsubscribed from loads of spam emails I receive for different websites shops, advertising etc. This has really helped.I check my emails regularly now and have made it a habit to click on the unsubscribe link on any spam emails I receive.
 
Do you check your email everyday?
Yes, unless it's one of the rare days that I am completely offline. I keep Outlook open all the time.

Do you have multiple email addresses?
I have 14 active email accounts (each has its own purpose), plus 5 addresses that are set up as forwarders, and 2 old ones that are just used for very rarely logging into things. :P

Are you good about keeping your email tidy deleting after you read?
Not especially. I do delete obvious spam right away, but others often sit until I go through and do a cleanout. I have lots and lots of folders, so it helps that I'm only dealing with one small chunk at a time. I file a lot of them away if I think I ever might want to look at them again.

Do you have any kind of system to limit the amount of emails you get daily?
No, but I really don't get a ton. If a store is sending too many I will unsubscribe. I have had to kill an email address a few times in the past when they got on a spam list and started drowning. That's part of the reason I have so many addresses – I only have to deal with changing/updating that one purpose if it gets to be a problem.

The number of emails I get is rather crazy, but about once a month I go through and (try to) unsubscribe from any emails that I don't need anymore. I swear that sometimes when I unsubscribe that just tells them I'm still there and they start sending me twice as many emails. ugh!

Are you good about keeping your email tidy deleting after you read? I'm pretty good about it. I have lots of folders in my gmail that I store old emails in for like bills and important stuff, otherwise I happily delete away.

Do you have any kind of system to limit the amount of emails you get daily? If one particular newsletter gets out of control (like Kohls or Old Navy lately) I just unsubscribe. Some of them I keep just because they send good coupons though, so if I know I'm not going to shop at a certain place in the near future, I just delete without even reading.
