Today is Eat Outside Day :)

I won't be doing that here because it's currently raining lol but I do enjoy patio seating at a restaurant or beach side seating on vacation. I don't typically just eat outside at home or go on picnics unless it's a family get-together. I guess the last time I ate outside was while we were at the beach at a dockside restaurant with live music. It was great!

We finally had a return to good weather today and made the most of it. We went for a drive and had lunch at a pub on the water, where they also had live music. Then we came home and later had dinner on the deck where we wondered how many more times we’d be able to eat outside this year.

Not during the Florida summers. But come 'winter' and temperatures in the 70s and I like it.

Do you have a favorite place to eat outside?
In the Florida Keys. There's quite a few restaurants where you can have your toes in the sand.

Do you have picnics?
No. I do like to get food to-go from restaurants and eat on a seawall though

That sounds lovely!! I know that here pretty soon I'm going to be wishing I could eat outside!

I love the toes in the sand meal! Sounds wonderful! I dream of FL winters lol

We eat outside most often at my daughter's softball games and tournaments.

I did with my kids when they were little but not any more.
 
I like sitting outdoors at a restaurant in the summer but seldom do it at home unless were are entertaining friends with a BBQ. When the kids were young we had picnics often but haven't done it in years.
 
I very much enjoy eating outside. Can't think of a particular favorite place though. I just do it whenever I have the chance. I haven't had a picnic in a long time; used to do it more when I took my children to parks and such. Unless eating my breakfast burrito on a rock beside the river yesterday morning could be called a picnic. :D
 
We took down our patio last summer and haven't had the chance to redo it...I definitely miss eating our summer meals outside. I love doing that during the summer...and as soon as it's patio season, we eat outside at home and at restaurants as much as we can!
The only time we picnic is when we bring food and drinks to the lake and eat on the beach!!
 
I didn’t know it was, but we did!! Picnic at a beautiful overlook for dinner tonight. It’s such the perfect temperature here right now & we had blue skies!

I'm not a fan of bugs, so that is the only thing I hate about eating outside! I've done lots of eating a ball games and practices, though lol

We used to eat on the patio fairly often but these days it seems everyone is off doing their own thing, so we're lucky to even eat at the same time lol
 
I'm not a huge fan of eating outside. Guess it's mainly due to my arachnophobia. I do enjoy if a restaurant has outside tables and it's a nice summer evening. But I prefer to eat inside.

Not often we have picnics. It's mainly if we're on a road trip and bring something to eat instrad of eating at a restaurant on the way. And then I just sit in the car.
 
Do you enjoy eating outside? As a kid I always loved when we would have a BBQ and eat outside.. it was like it was a special occasion and made me so happy!
Do you have a favorite place to eat outside? No longer like to eat outside due to heat and bugs, but if we were invited to a BBQ it would be ok. Even restaurants with outdoor seating, I now prefer indoors with the A/C... when I smoked, I would choose an outdoor spot but I quit smoking 11 years ago. [I do love the outdoor cafe's in Ireland and the UK and did that a few times while there!]
Do you have picnics? No picnics here.
 
I don't eat outside often, the combination of British weather and pesky wasps. It's been dry enough to eat in my garden this summer but I instantly get attacked by the things.
We used to have a lot of picnics when the children were smaller, not so much now.
 
Do you enjoy eating outside? Absolutely if it's not 95 degrees out! We don't have a huge bug issue here, so it's pleasant.

Do you have a favorite place to eat outside? A lot of restaurants and brewpubs have outside eating here in my town, but I like the seating at Sunriver Brewing, which is right by my office. Most people in town probably like McMenamin's North Bank on the Willamette or maybe even Sweetwaters at Valley River Inn, also on the Willamette, but the first is usually too busy and the second, I hear, the lunch is not that great anymore.

Do you have picnics? Not really. Sometimes church potlucks are outside, but I don't really have a group of people to do that with anymore. The last one I remember was with a group of friends back before our friend Lee moved to Texas. It was fun!
 
hmmm . . as with most everything -there is an "it depends"

Do you enjoy eating outside? Yes, when the weather is not too hot and sticky, or too windy. Or if I am at a place with an outside area, if it's not too close to a noisy road.

Do you have a favorite place to eat outside? I rarely go out for a meal, so I guess my favorite place is my patio at present time. But I generally just sit in my worn out chair and not the dirty patio table. I absolutely love having my coffee here in the mornings when weather cooperates.

Do you have picnics? not really. We have on occasion called enjoying our meal or snack on a blanket in the house with my grandson for fun.

I do if it's not hotter than Hades outside. That usually mean Winter time in South Florida. But sometimes I get lucky and can do it even in Summer.

Do you have a favorite place to eat outside?
A picnic near the water is my fav but it happens more often at restaurants with outdoor seating.

Not in quite awhile but I love doing it.
