Earthquake

that's how people in Puerto Rico has been feeling. They are still recuperating from the CAT 5 hurricane, then since DEC of last year they have been hit with HUNDREDS of earthquakes, then a meteorite hit near by the island and now this!

WOW! I had no idea. And Aeriel America made Puerto Rico seem like such a wonderful place!

Glad you are all safe! I follow a bunch of Instagrammers from Utah and had seen their posts about it this morning. Yikes! We had a small one a few years back and it was pretty freaky.

Unfortunately it is not right now. They are still getting earthquakes daily. Some not as strong but it's really tough for them right now, specially the people living in the south and center of the island. My parents are in and out of water and electricity without notice.

Today was scary... no fun! I hope things get better for them soon.

Are the aftershocks done? Or are you guys still feeling them? Hopefully it's a one thing only for you guys and not this mess PR has with dozens every day.

We are still having aftershocks but we haven’t felt any here at home since the early afternoon. The areas closer to the epicenter are still feeling them.

The earthquake was my alarm clock today - not my favorite way to wake up! But seriously, we are just fine- it's just weird to have that happen on top of everything else that's going on. My emotions have been all over the place. And I thought January was a long month...

I am glad you ladies are ok, where there any casualties or building destruction. There is nothing in the news other than coronavirus.

No casualties, thankfully. There was some damage to some roads and buildings and power outages in some areas. The airport shutdown so they could assess the damages there and there was a spill at the Kennecott copper plant. For the most part the virus is still consuming the news. Here’s a local news station site if you’re interested Kutv.com or ksl.com

I agree March has been way longer than January. The earthquake was definitely a wake up call. I was still in bed and my hubby was driving to work. At first I thought it was strong winds shaking the house, but then I realized it was an earthquake! The shaking was too strong for winds we get around here and I thought the roof was going to come off.

Our 72 hour kits are way old. I went through them yesterday and tried to update as best as I could. That was a wake up call of it’s own!

Was everyone home with you? I was really worried about my hubby driving to work and my married kids in Provo. Thankfully I was able to contact them and everyone was ok. My sisters and their families who live in salt lake were ok too. Just a little shakin up like us all. My adrenaline was pumping yesterday. I couldn’t settle down. I kept wondering what else was going to happen.
