This year is my first time doing a DYD project and MAN is my junk journal getting fat! :giggle I was just sitting here wondering if people who usually do a DYD album, do you stop on the 25th or do you go all the way to the 31st? I have enough pages, but I don't know if this thing is going to close. Lol. I'm going to have to make tie closure for it I think.

My december album covers the whole month but it's hard (for me) to have photos for the last days of december.

Since I'm just doing photos and 4 x 6 index card-ish quote pages and other inserts with no dimension, my album is fine doing 31 days (it has spots for 100 flat items, which I'll be doing), but I see your conundrum. Ties generally get put under the cover paper, so you might have to do a second layer. Measure that ribbon TWICE and cut once! You need it super long, I'm guessing.

It’s so cute Karen! I’m not a DYD-er but I say fill it!

No help on what is traditional, but this so reminds me of some my HEAVY old Creative Memories albums

a tie-closure sounds like a great idea.
I normally go all the way through to the 31st. We generally have a number of family things happen during the last few days of the month.

My life is not eventful enough to do a December daily type of album yet, and I expressed the word yet! But I am gathering inspiration for future reference. I suppose I could do some type of December daily scripture writing…

I didn’t think I could either, but having these prompts enabled me to take a good stab at it.

I document weekly so the end of December is covered in that album. My DYD stops on Christmas Day.
But I'd say you decide and if you feel you want to do more, do so. And tie it all up with a pretty now.

I absolutely love your chunky journal!!!
I used to go through the end of the month, but now I stop on the 25th. I found that the last week tends to be kind of lazy and we just don't do a whole lot unless it's a New Years Eve thing, and I just include that with my last page of PL.

Well, since we had another family Christmas gathering on the 27th, I decided to keep going through NYE tonight. I got all caught up yesterday, so I just have to finish today's page. My book is SOOOOOO fat now. I'm thinking of creating a new binding for it because there's no ribbon in the world strong enough to hold this thing closed. Ha ha! Good thing I really love creating book bindings. :giggle

It totally reminds me of my old paper scrapping days -- some of those albums are HEAVY . . . yay for digi!!!!!
I'll just admire all the pretty hybrid projects.
