I hardly buy any dvds anymore unless it is a movie I have loved seeing or seen the preview for and fallen in love.
I have a few series I have collected - Eg. Twilight but I'm really selective on what I buy nowadays!

How about you...? Do you have a huge collection of DVD's?
 
We do! We upgraded all our VHS tapes to DVD's way back when, and now we're doing Blu-Ray's.
If there's a movie coming out we buy it, even if we only plan on watching it once.
 
Not anymore since RedBox is right down the road. $1 a night and I can drop off at any location.

Well, I have about 150 DVD's and about 300+ VHS. I am a HUGE movie buff, as you can see. I mostly do comedies. A few of my faves:
Austin Powers
Anything Jim Carrey
Rush Hour's
Anything Ben Stiller
Lots more!
Oh hey - I have a lot of my faves that I own pinned on Pinterest! One day I want to get every movie I own on there! Wow, that will be a challenge!

Tv shows on DVD are pretty much my favourite thing ever so I've got quite a little collection going.
I'm the type that when I like something I feel compelled to watch it over and over and I guess I like doing that with tv shows more than movies because the stories go on for longer!
 
We have so many DVD's stashed away in a binder that I couldn't tell you how many we had. We just recently upgraded to a BlueRay player (I LOVE IT- it totally beats the 6 CD/DVD changer we used to have- such a pain!) and the picture is almost surreal (if you have an HD LED- you know all of those ABC's :lol) I'm pretty sure that DVD's can play in a blue ray player too so if you decide to upgrade, you won't feel as bad.

We don't buy as many anymore unless they're on sale or if it's a really good movie that we want to have. LOVE REDBOX!!!

we have a ton of DVDs, probably 75 kid movies (disney, pixar, etc) and over 200 other movies. i however, don't watch much tv (including movies) because i would much rather scrap or read. hubby on the other hand is a movie buff. we also have netflix.
 
we have a TON of DVD's. but we don't buy many anymore. we usually buy movies to finish a series we've started and love... like the Pirates series, and Transformers, and Harry Potter. most of our DVD purchases are kid-friendly. other than that, we just rent, or find them on tv. we used to do netflix, but no longer.
 
I have three large bookshelves full of them and two cases...My husband wants me to chill...but I love Movies :)
