So, a while back in Entertainment Weekly, I saw a recommendation for a book for those of us who love Downton Abbey (like I know that we all do!!) It was a book called The House at Tyneford.. I just went and looked it up at the library and added it to my requests. It finally came last week and it is SO good. I can hardly put it down! It definitely reminds me of the show, but it describes things in ways that only a book can. I am loving it.

Anyone else heard of it or read it?
 
I hadn't heard of it, but it sounds very interesting. I just added it to my kindle.

I am having Downton Abbey withdraw right now. I can't believe we have to wait until January!
 
WHAT!!! Jan, really! I had no idea it was that long of a wait! UG!! I am going to have to re watch the shows for sure!


I'll have to check the book out, I haven't heard of it either.
 
awesome - i just bought it :) and i'm lucky - i haven't watched downton abbey yet - that's one of my summer projects :) i cannot wait since i've heard so many good things about it!
 
Love Downton Abbey so, so much! And yes, I've read the book and it's wonderful! I swear I was British in another life...
 
this book sounds like a great "Downton Abbey" fix. . . while we wait for Season 3! thanks for the heads up!

I'm currently rewatching, already on Season 2 again. This time I hooked DH too. :)
